Please suggest, IMI Delhi (core) or IIM Vizag. The popular opinion is to go for Vizag. I want to go for marketing, specifically sports marketing. A possible route for this is through media related companies. Having looked into the placement reports for Vizag, I was unable to locate any such companies. However, I could find such companies in IMI. I have been living in Delhi for the past 6 years, so this is a factor as well. So I am confused as to what I should opt for. Please help.

*This is with reference to your request for hostel accommodation at International Management Institute New Delhi (“Institute”) in terms of your admission to our Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Banking & Financial Services). We regret to inform you that currently, we do not have sufficient hostel capacity, both on campus premises as well as off-campus in the hostels associated with the Institute. Due to certain irreconcilable differences between the off-campus hostel providers and the Institute, there is a paucity of available accommodation and therefore a limited number of students that can be accommodated in terms of provision of hostels. In this unfortunate background, we have been compelled to provide hostel rooms on a first-come-first-serve-basis of having completed the prescribed formalities including making the deposit for the hostel. We regret to inform you that based on this criterion, we shall not be able to provide you with hostel accommodation. We also realize that you may have opted for admission at the Institute under the assumption that you may be provided hostel accommodation and in this untoward circumstance, we shall respect your decision to withdraw your admission with us if availability of hostel accommodation is necessary to your application for admission. In this background, if you so choose to withdraw your admission from the Institute on account of the unavailability of hostel accommodation, the Institute shall refund you the full amount deposited by you amounting to INR 341000/- along with interest at the rate of 7% per annum for the period for which the money was deposited with the Institute, as a goodwill gesture. Please note that the aforesaid refund is subject to such withdrawal being made by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, 28 May 2019 only. In the event that you choose to retain your admission or fail to withdraw the same, which shall be deemed to be retention of your admission, by 5.00 pm on Tuesday, 28 May 2019, the Institute shall adjust the deposit made by you to avail the hostel accommodation amounting to INR 60000/-, against the next instalment of fees to be paid by you in August 2019. We truly regret the inconvenience caused to you by this unavoidable hostel situation.
