After paying 75000, is there any confirmation mail or some link where we can check the payment & waitlist status? Adcom, please clarify. IMI's current system looks a bit shady and things seem to be kept behind a curtain. There is no transparency here after making the payment.

In the admission mail received, it is mentioned: "it is critical for us to receive the admission acceptance form duly filled in and signed by you by April 17, 2020". But in the acceptance letter, it is given "In confirmation thereof, I have remitted INR 75,000/- towards provisional confirmation". Could somebody clarify regarding the same i.e when should we submit the acceptance letter(by 7th or 17th)?

Also, given the current situation, it would be difficult to take a printout of the form and sign it. Will it be fine if I do a digital signature and upload it?

I had talk with couple of member of admission committee and they told me they have conveyed the concerns to chairman but it is unlikely that dates will be postponed. I don't get it what is such a big hurry? Can't they delay for a few days like IMT did till it is safe and convenient for all of us?


it seems like they too have indulged in brazen greedy money minded schemes robbing the purse of candidates? Perhaps that's why even waitlisted candidates are being asked to pay the amount...


regardless, I have mailed once again putting Aicte Chairman and its personal secetary in CC. let's see if something happens...

Hello Everyone.. The below mentioned details are related to the majority doubts you guys are facing. please go through them once. The deadline for submitting the acceptance form is 7th of April. You need to submit the soft copy of it, if in case you are facing issues for printing it out then you can take a blank paper and replicate the acceptance form and submit a duly signed handwritten copy of it. In case you are waitlisted or shortlisted for more then 1 programme and interested in more then 1 then you have to submit 75000 for each programme. For instance a candidate is selected for BFS and waitlisted for core and he wants to remain eligible for core while keeping a seat reserved in BFS. In such case the candidate needs to submit 75000 each for both the programs

On the official IMI site, it is written that the second installment has to be paid by 20th August but we've been asked to pay till 17th, why so ?

How in the hostel facilities available. Do we get twin shared rooms or cubical or tripple sharing, in case we opt to avail the institute's hostel facility

In my application form VESVESWARAIAH TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, KARNATAKA is the spelling of my university. I had selected from dropdown while filling. However, in my degree certificate visvesvaraya technological university, karnataka is the spelling mentioned. Will it pose a problem in later stage?
