my question is how the waitlist works, like i have heard that when waitlist moves dcp converts gets chance for their priority and waitlisted candidate gets dcp, so if anyone is aware about it please help

I have been selected for pgdm dcp. Is there a waitlist for pgdm core? It doesn't show when I login. Pgdm core was my first preference.
Guys please make this clear for me!! My portal just says *WL644* I was initially shortlisted for all the 4 IMT campuses and all the programmes. What is this waiting list for? Ghaziabad core?Ghaziabad marketing? Nagpur? Hyderabad or Dubai? Just saying WL644 doesn't give any clarity!!
What about Hyderabad, Nagpur campuses? Have the results been declared for those as well?
GEM workex - 17 months in IT consulting, CFA level 1 candidate 10/12/grad - 87.4/90.8/72.69(DTU) Left job now. Converted pgdm(BFS) IMT Ghaziabad. Would it be a good option to choose for me? I am also awaiting IMI Delhi and IIT kharagpur results.. I am very much inclined towards pursuing specialization in Finance. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
