While paying 2.5 lakhs fees, if I pay through internet banking, what are the GST and convenience fees?
I heard that there is a 6 cgpa cutoff for sitting for placements in IMT. Please clarify whether the cutoff is graduation cgpa or MBA cgpa.
Hello All, I am an alum of 2017-19 batch and I am observing a lot of queries regarding 6 CGPA cut off and whether IMT allows candidate to sit into placements with so and so cutoff. I am writing this post to help you all and clear out the air. The final decision regarding cutoff is rest up to companies who visits the campus for placements, not up to IMT. IMT doesn't put such restrictions to make you sit into final placementt, at least not in my experience. But yeah with more than 6.5 cgpa for marketing and 7 cgpa for finance,it is absolutely desirable and safe eventhough few company decides to put restrictions on CGPA scored at IMT. With little bit of concentration in studies, one will be able to score more than 6 at ease and with bit of extra efforts, one will be able to score more than 6.5, again very easily...Still, IMT Doesn't put any restriction to make you sit in the campus placements and in any case if they decide to put some cap (in case) for 2018-20 batch or 2019-21 batch, then still its no big deal.... As far as it concerns to graduation CGPA, again, there is no restriction put by IMT. That's also rest up to companies who visits the campus. Throughout 70 plus in 10th, 12th and Graduation is very much desirable to be on safer side, but again, it's not sacrosanct that you will be jeopardized if you don't have those numbers in your CV. So, in a nutshell, there is no sacrosant cutoff and IMT helps their student a lot to gain an opportunity in campus placement if its rest up to them.. IMT as a bschool helped everyone throughout, at least that is what i felt in my two years stint with the bschool and I have observed a lot of good candidates who got a very good opportunity even with bit of scary academics but those candidates were absolute gem and they scored very well in whatever opportunity lend into their hands. As far as it concerns to CGPA scored at IMT, only people who doesn't put any efforts to score something decent in terms of academics end up having less than 6, that's why I said it's no big deal.
Hi, can anyone please share how is IMT for finance. Please don't compare it to other colleges. Just want to know about it in terms of course, co curricular opportunities and internship/placements. And is it really that bad, as per people on internet?
