but is it officially announced by imt-n authority that the cutoff for cat and cmat is 80 %tile for 2013-15..?
@Anubha.imt i have applied ma'm..thanks for the guidance:)
@manityb CMAT Feb might not be considered as per the information I have got the officials as CMAT results will be out by March first week. Till that time the admission procedure might get over for IMT-N. If u r filling a form then you will just have to take chances.
Fill the CAt/ XAT roll no. for now. Later you CAN update your form.
@Patt007 IMT-Nagpur will take your best score out of all the competitve exams you have provided information for. You do get an option to update your form later. That is the time when you can change your CMAT roll no. to Feb CMAT. If you have a good percentile in the Sep CMAT, you can keep the same. :)
@Anubha.imt Do you think my rank of my score of 219 and AIR- 2554(94.70) in Sept CMAT will be enough to fetch me a call for GD/PI from IMT nagpur .Or is it like that the college might give more preference to CAT/XAT score in comparison to CMAT(sept)?
hey... my sept cmat score was 187... any chances of getting a call???
n im a 2012 pass out no experience... does that will make any impact on selection criteria further..??
@Anubha.imt Hi, My profile goes lik this, 10+2+ 3 years of a professional course (Aircraft Maintenance Engg.) then I ve been working with a leading software firm on Aerospace domain for 38 months. During the time I completed my BBA thru correspondence (2009-2012).
I had difficulty in filling the Application form since it didnt have any professional courses column. So I filled my grad details and put my exp at 38 mnths without any mentions of prof course. Here r my Qs:
1. Whether my 38 mnths exp wud be considered since they r bfr graduation (BBA)?
2. I heard top MBA colleges dont prefer correspondence candidates, so how about IMTs?
I ve got a fair CMAT score of around 92 percentile on sept 2012 and also appearing XAT. So any chances of shortlisting?

@minnijain There is a probablity. π There are marks for work experience but that does not affect much if you perform well being a fresher. I myself am one, and it did not affect my selection :)
@solidpraky Your work experience should be taken into account as u have worked after obtaining a course of Aircraft Engg. It is true that B schools do not highly prefer correspondence courses.
However, it should not be a very big hurdle in my opinion. To add to this, your CMAT percentile is good and you are also appearing for XAT. You must fill up the form with both your CMAT roll no as well as your XAT no.
last date to apply for imt has been extended upto 13 dec....
