Yes this is the procedure even I called them twice and confirmed each and every detail. They said the confirmed payees would make the final list. And those who dont pay get reject. Then if there is a short of students again calls will be made to the already in the waitlist.
Now if some senior helps in clarifying that there is a waitlist and will be given calls after 5th april then it would clear the cloud for those who havent got calls.
Also we do have the option to withdraw even after paying the 50000. But if you pay the second installment then you are a confirmed IMT N Student from there and then.. That is what can be made out from the info available. I doubt why nothing is written on their website regarding the procedures. On any of their subsidiary websites.
As it goes now paying 50K before 5th april is the criteria or the next step for those who have got calls.

BUT yes in PGDM Finance dey offer dual specialization with 60:40 ratio i.e. 60 % focus will be on finance n rest on the odr specialization you take...

But m a bit sad that I couldn't make it to core PGDM.Actually,m a Mechanical engineer with some work ex. in production.I have got a call for BIMTECH(PGDM) core.So,was trying to gain some info on PGDM(finance) in IMT-N. But lagta hai,finance will not be a very gud option for me,considering that I would prefer Operations as my specialization and want to work in a manufacturing firm......

@just_nishu4u Actually dere is a chance fr course upgradation as well... if dere are seats vacant u may be offered pgdm-core as well... i think dere is contact the admin :)
@Anubha.imt i gave my gdpi 0n 22nd february and didnt get any mail for imt-n...i had given for imt-n/h/d...called up the office...she said that results will come this evening itself ...so do i have a chance for the mail ?
