Hello everyone! (This might be long, but please take out some time to read and suggest. :) )
I am one of the students selected for the IMT PGDM. But, I am really confused about whether to join or not, keeping in mind the exorbitant fees and today's financial conditions of almost everybody, including me. For a student like me, who has already given the entrance exams thrice and have finally got into a decent college this year, it is very difficult to just drop again that easily, especially with no job in hand. But paying such huge amounts for online classes, which will be held for an indefinite peiod and more so, when we are unable to use any other college facilities like hostel, labs etc. seems really too much. How can i ask my parents to help me pay for hostels and other facilities in such tough times, when i will be sitiing at home and doing my MBA, which is supposed to be a residence course. And we all know the importance of it being a residence course, of which we cannot do anything now. But when we are so unsure about what opportunities will we get in future, whether the economic scenario will improve, or will we be able to get the return of such huge amount, paying extra for something, we wont be benefitting from, at this point, seems very confusing. I totally know how important doing MBA is for me, right now, but at the same time its making me feel very helpless and depressed. Please help me guys, with your opinions and suggestions, because there might be so many like me, who cannot pay such huge amount just like that. All i think is, the colleges can ask for those charges once we are able to join. But your thoughts will really be appreciated. I dont mean to demean anyone or the college, but this is merely about how anxious and depressed i have been feeling all this while, about all this and have finally thought of seeking help, if i could get any, from here.
