How is this possible?? this is 2017's data... how can there be such a huge difference in 2017 vs now. Can anyone explain?
Did anyone think about the fact that due to online counselling process waitlist movement will be very very slow. Suppose all top 60 people who got F.S opt out of it in frst round then by end of first round i.e on 12th april the F.S waitlist will only move by 60 and next 60 will get FS .Again option will be there to continue for 3rd round and evryone can easily select 'yes' . again if all nxt 60 leave F.S then waitlist gonna move 60 more. So max by end of 4th round jst for F.S movement will be maximum of 60*4 =240 . This is so less. I feel this time movements will keep taking place even after classes start. Anyone having any insight on this please do comment below

*IMPORTANT*
there are so many factors which should make people optimistic with bad ranks:
1. results of IMI,New IIMs, Baby IIMs, XIMB, GIM, IMT, MDI (There are people who got ABC calls, XLRI calls and applied to KJ as a back up)
2. waitlist number is allotted for all courses...that means person with Better rank and low waitlist for IB may not be ACTUALLY interested in IB than core (so waitlist will move slow initially..but it will go fas in future(for couses other than core))
3. people prefrence for core from other institute (GIM/IMI..etc) over KJ IB or RM course..so list will be slow uptill second round but in third and fourth round it will move drastically.
4. this year fourth round will end by 3rd may..there is ample time to provide individual mails....(last year due to process going till july..they came up with online thing) (people dont get induction)
5. in kj, if people are not interested in particular course..then too they end up choosing that course and eventually not so good placements (which affect overall reputaion of placements) (SO CHOOSE YOUR CAREER AND PREFRENCE WISELY)
so eventually list will move slow but it will move drastically in subsequent rounds

I have one query and It would be highly appreciated if any adcom member or current student of simsr can reply to this - " I am thinking of taking a study leave or sabbatical from the current company I am working in and I would like to know if simsr allows such students to sit for the campus placements or this right is solely with the companies?"
