Hello!

Do the recruiting companies know which field we have chosen before hand? Or is it something they know about us during the interview stages? If yes, is PGDM Core generally given preference in terms of high/better offers over other specialised courses?

I noticed there is a drastic difference in the highest package achieved while comparing Core with the other cources (especially IB). I do know the placements are common for all cources, just want an insight if the companies have any such preferences?
