It was an honour for SIMSR and its students when they hosted Axis Securities CEO, Mr. Arun Thukral on their campus. Having worked for more than 20 years in this field, Mr. Arun Thukral discussed the importance of Equity Investments.

He interacted with students and told them about the psychologies behind taking an investment decision. He also presented a copy of his book ‘Yogi on Dalal Street’ to the director Dr. Monica Khanna.

We thank Mr. Arun Thukral for sharing his vast pool of knowledge with the students of SIMSR.

The CII-Yi (Confederation of Indian Industries – Young India) society at SIMSR marked another successful year with its headlining event “Yi-Chakra” held on 27th November 2018. In their mission to achieve a sustainable and green campus community, the society introduced a new batch of bicycles for student use and convenience. They were unveiled under the guiding hand of the honourable director of SIMSR, Dr Monica Khanna, and the beloved faculty members – Professor Jacob Isaac and Dr Abha Wankhade.

Students Activity Forum(SAF) at KJ SIMSR makes sure that students also have a fun time whilst doing MBA at the institute. They organise several activities to facilitate the creation of a strong bond among students.

Today they organised a salsa workshop conducted by Chinmay Khedekar and Apoorva Paranjpe. For a person who has two left feet the prospect of doing salsa was a terrifying one but nevertheless, I went for it and it was an amazing experience. So dancer or not, I recommend attending every single SAF event because they arereal stress busters.
