The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award is an annual prestigious award instituted from Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi.
The event started on a positive note with National Anthem being recited in the auditorium.
Mr Anil Shastri gave the welcome address.
Thereafter, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu honoured the senior advocate Fali Sam Nariman with Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award for Excellence in Public Administration.
The vote of thanks was given by Dr D.K Srivastava, Director of LBSIM.
A momento was also presented to the Honourable Vice President and the event marked its end on the tunes of The National Anthem.

The session started with Mrs Jaya talking about calm mind, sharp intellect and brilliant action being the prerequisites for success. She also elaborated on how anxiety for success leads to failure and that motivation is the sole result of either the deficiency or abundance in your life. She concluded her talk by addressing the students on the importance of the spirit of yajna (sacrifice). This was followed by an interactive Q&A session.
