You go to university for STUDYING ! and shaping your CAREER and thatās what LPU strives for.
With personal experience I can vouch for the fact that whole of LPUās faculty and placements team work makes sure that students get best of curriculum, technology training, professional enhancement and etiquette, internships, projects, consultancies, entrepreneurship exposure, credit transfer programs, hands on workshops, industry interface, open minors, placement pathways for different outcomes.
The best part however is the strictness on curriculum delivery and attendance, LPU doesn't compromise on both these things, normally students think it as oppression, but donāt realize that it is the commitment of LPU towards the parents for giving full value for their money.
Dear students, if you really just want to have fun and no studies, LPU is actually not a place for it. Here it is a healthy mix of fun and studies, which goes together.
A large number of opportunities in terms of internships, entrepreneurship and placements come your way, it is YOU who have to take the initiative and grab these opportunities for your carer growth.
So, YES LPU is not only worth joining, it is once in a lifetime experience which goes a long way in shaping your career.

How is the overall college review as I am confused between Welingkar, Mumbai and IMT, Nagpur for PGDM marketing? How is campus life?IMT Nagpur is doing quite well in management studies, has earned a good reputation for itself and Welingkar is a legendary B-School so, if you get through Welingkars its fine, but IMT nagpur certainly isn't the best, there are a lot of better players, LPU is one of the top one. The MBA programme at LPU is a great mix of cutting edge curriculum, experiential learning pedagogy, industry interface, projects, internships and consultancies, technologies trainings and many more. The sheer size of campus and number of students provides a plethora of opportunities to students to explore their entrepreneurial skills. The multicultural intake ensures that students learn and understand cultural sensibilities which become an asset in corporate life. The most striking point however is the center for professional enhancement, the students are exposed to new ideas about personality development, professional etiquette, virtues, ethics, interpersonal and networking skills for almost full duration of the programme rather than just a few weeks of placement trainings. This inculcates these qualities in the students in much better way and go a long way into shaping the career apart from cracking the interviews. Coming to reputation, since you asked, NIRF a government agency has ranked Mittal School of business among top 50 B-schools in the country twice in a row, in some of the parameters it has even beaten most Iims and ranked no. 2 in the country !
More importantly, more than 200 companies visit the campus for recruitment of management grads only ! Which is a huge number and a big achievement. More than 97% of eligible graduates get their dream placements. It is not like any other university, you can SEE it from the first step of selection, even Iims have basic eligibility of 50% in graduation, while LPU has raised the bar to 55%. No wonder it has one of the largest intakes in the country which has over 97% placement record. Recent NIRF rankings have put Mittal School of business among top 50 b-schools in the country for second year straight. Hope this helps
