When it comes to vacations, LPU has a fairly restricted number of vacation days. Students usually work five days a week, with Saturday and Sunday off. In general, LPU does not have many holidays. During the first week of class, each student receives a calendar for their branch, which lists all of the holidays for the whole year, allowing students to plan their trips and purchase tickets ahead of time.
PEP (Professional Enhancement Programme) sessions are required for various programmes. If a lecturer cancels throughout the week, you may be required to attend adjustment or makeup lectures in any topic.
Also, if you apply for any interviews, extracurricular activities, or maybe the NCC test, such events are also scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays.
On Saturdays, the university may hold workshops, seminars, training, guest lectures, and other events.
Following their end-of-term examinations, students are given 20 days off in December.
You will have roughly two months off during the summer break.
You will get 3â4 days off during Diwali.
Rather than taking every Saturday and Sunday off during the holidays,
Republic Day, Independence Day, Sri Guru Ravi Dass Jayanti, Holi, Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, Dusshera, and Maharishi Balmikiâs Birthday are all national holidays.
