Applicants need to fulfil the following basic eligibility requirements in order to apply for the Migration/ Transfer process. The application of the applicant who meets the eligibility requirements will be reviewed and verified by the University Officials for further process.

  • Applicants, who are pursuing a regular degree from the accredited institution, are eligible to apply for the migration/ transfer.
  • The program you are interested in applying to LPU should be similar to the one you are currently enrolled in.
  • The applicant needs to satisfy the minimum percentage required in eligibility requirements of the current year in which the student is seeking migration/ transfer.
  • Students who are seeking migration/ transfer are requested to apply as per following timeline:
    • For Even terms, students need to submit their request up to the month of November.
    • For Odd term, students need to submit their request before the last date of admission.
  • This helps to ensure that the transfer students will be able to join the classes in the upcoming term of the select programme with the existing batch after verification of the documents.
  • The above mentioned schedule is tentative; any of the date(s) and other details as mentioned above is subject to change at the discretion of the University.
  • If a migrating applicant has Backlog/ Compartment/ Reappear in any subject may not be considered by the University for Admission.
  • Applicants who are previously enrolled in a regular programme, may not be considered for admission to Dual Degree/ Integrated/ Honours/ International Exposure/ Credit Transfer programmes.
  • Application for admission will only be accepted if the applicant shall spend two or more years in LPU.
  • Migration/ Transfer Request in programme is subject to the availability of the seats in that programme.

At LPU the MBA in hospitality and tourism management programme is meant for the students looking for a leadership role in the tourism and hospitality industry. The course focuses on the development of language skills for academic writing: the language of analysis, evaluation, discussion, description, and reflection.
This course explores the geography of the culinary world with particular reference to the origins and diffusion of the world’s major staples and their relationships with regional cuisines and tourist sites. Topics include the relationship between tourism, food, and wine, political, social, economic contexts of food production; assess foods and food-related events that have an impact on tourism.
This course introduces various departments of hotels and resorts, their functions, the contribution of each department in the hotel business, internal management of hospitality, work culture, style, profiles, and opportunities.
Introduction to tourism destinations worldwide and their geography, introduction to basics of computer software and hardware, IT, internet and networking with special reference to online reservation software and their application in Tourism and hospitality industry is also given. Hi there, I will give you a brief overview of LPUs programs. The eligibility for B Tech, BBA Hons, BSc Hons and B Com hons programs is 60 percent. The eligibility for B Com, BCA and BBA is 50 percent. For BA the eligibility is pass marks in any discipline.
For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants) is also given.

Faculty have separate apartments too however, some stay in the same buildings where students stay. In some hostels, floors are divided, but don’t worry cameras, faculty and hostel staff are there to keep a vigilant eye on you.

Graduates may opt for legal practice, where management foundation will groom aspiring lawyers for the corporate sector. The eligibility for the BBA LLB program is Pass with 90% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent OR Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or Rank upto 10000 in CLAT or 80 Percentile or above score in LSAT. No a suspended student cannot sit in exams. He will have to reappear. The LPU is very strict when it comes to discipline and rules. So don’t indulge in any such activity that may lead to suspension. This is the reason, LPU is one of the safest campus.

The eligibility for MBA at LPU is Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CAT or MAT or XAT or NMAT or CMAT^ and Interview.
