I just came across an interesting article in a magazine. The article is about ranking b-schools based on alumni profiles on linkedin. I feel its an excellent thought keeping in mind that most b-schools never provide 100% accurate placement details.
They analyzed linked profiles of 2012 passouts based on company they are working (MNC, Public, emerging), level they are working (Manager, Dy. Manager, Executive), job profiles etc. Important component is the total % of Managers and Dy Managers from institutes.
I did a bit of research on my own and found it to be much more accurate way of judging placements and mainly ROI as quality of placements reflects on actual ROI. Some of the MAT colleges which rank high are BIMTECH, Jaipuria Lucknow, Amrita, IFIM, ITM, Amity, Acharya, SCMS, Jaipuria Noida, JIMS Rohini, BIMHRD, NDIM in same order.

@amm789
you are ranking bimhrd here but the students of that college are giving negative feedback. they say that only bimm is good and that no other sister institute is worth the money.
if you ready to put a lot of hard work then alliance is undoubtedly good. avg placement package is around 5.5 lacs as told to me by the students, however college claims it to be 7 lacs. you must score 60% or more in every semester there and more than 50% in each subject to pass, if you can do this then you are eligible to participate in the placement process. they give atleast 10 opportunities to each student during placement season (symbiosis gives only 5 opportunities) which i think is more than enough. they also have student exchange programs and they have collaborations with many many foreign universities. the fees is very high but since u r not concerned about roi therefore it should not be a problem. hostel is good and food what they provide is very good. campus is big and beautiful with many facilities but located in the outskirts of bangalore. weather in bangalore is much better than noida.
