why is this situation that if you had 600 or above in mat you are eligible for most of the colleges...why not something better for students who have score above 750 or percentile above 95 or 98...i mean any one above 90 or 92 percentile is same in mat exam ?????

scores around 600 makes you eligible to attend GD PI only but chances for final conversion remains relatively less as Final conversion is based on your whole profile including acads,MAT score and GD PI performance :)

The more you score the better your chances for conversion :)...but one has to do good in GD PI also even if you have score 99+ %ile also! :)
@inuman i completely agree with u yaar because CAT gives advantages to all the students who have got 98 or so even if they are not able to convert in IIMs there non iims clgs better than the top colleges under MAT and if evryone gets same so competition for selection gets really tough

@Priyank4 same dude..i mean if u consider same case in cat.. they have several options..and no. of colleges for above 90 are a lot..i mean after getting ma score though it is gud score i feel that..every collg has same criteria for above 600 ..no harsh feelings 4 others.only felt this..

you can apply to BIMM, JIMS Rohini, NDIM, Jaipuria noida, Christ, ITM NM which are so called BEST options under MAT tier, you will get good studying environment in all of these but I dun gaurantee placements as it depends upon efforts made by placement team every year...also please check the colleges respective websites if you can still apply or not as i reckon you are pretty late to apply in these colleges now

yes its true officially we are given 8 chances only 
but if some student doesn't, even then he is allowed to sit for placement so dun worry on that part( only in case of marketing, finance aur hr ki itni co's hi kaha aati hai) and regarding the number approx. 100/180 placed yet

JIMS rohini, ndim, imm, its... But remember that the difference is very small.
