MSR is a med and engg college by default and isnt really good in other faculties such as MBA.
PS: I studdied in VTU and have fair knwoledge bout MSR.

@shweta.mishra if u r talking abput joms rohini than ots totally wrong...by the way u got selected in jims? as far as i know ...i ws there in the gdpi of jims rohin..and know candidates who did not get selected there...and really i m not favouring any college but candidate who got selected for pgdm general in ndim or jaipuria the same candidates got selected for pgdm ib and retail mkting in jims rohini and the candidates were around 100-120 at tht time of gdpi qhich i never saw in any other colleges i went to
@shweta.mishra If you want to check colledge is giving you the right information of placements just see which student got place in which company search on google with that student name and company if you got it then its truth else its fake ! Hope you get my point !
@9gaurav9 selected for IB n RMM and in waiting list for FT. n yeah there were many students who applied for jims. so my status is sceptical. scene would be clear after 8th. hoping for d best :)

Other options are to check linkedin profiles of alumni, mandatory disclosure and if you have doubts on that then you can file RTI with AICTE to confirm the disclosure figures.

Mandatory disclosure figures cannot be ignored... But it is also important to check alteast 2-3 yrs disclosure to check placements consistency. No doubts jims is a v good option but jaipuria cannot be called worthless. This is after analyzing faculty profiles, placements of last 2-3 yrs, companies visiting for placements, student feedback etc...
