@pm199010 i hav heard jims is gd.....d infrastructure is nt dat g8 but oderwise placements is gd.....i hav heard frm my senior......personaly i am nt aware abt it much.....

Pal... I have gone through few of the reviews... If you talk about infra related details then its bang on but other details are not completely accurate. Regarding placements mandatory disclosure figures are most reliable and for amity they mentioned 3L and for ndim they mentioned 3-4L. This is not accurate. Jaipuria is not listed. I felt the reviews are against north Indian institutes.
I have been visiting these institutes for the last 3-4 yrs and recruiting students. I get to interact with current students and alumni. I have not found the feedback to be too reliable. Visit the colleges yourself and get first hand review.

Between ims ghz and noida go for ghz. JIMS is better than ims.

ok. So there are lots of questions about JIMS Rohini !!!!!!
I went to GD PI session of JIMS just to have a back-up option in case i don't get into a more decent college. I saw around 50 candidates for PGDM programme with a good number of female candidates too who had come from far places I really appreciate that the staff is really puntual. The GD started around 11:30 ( as per schedule) . The GD topic was " Women empowerment". Facing a GD has never been a problem for me. But, this time it was. Because an "over-enthusiastic guy" tried to to take over the topic with too strong views. Phew 
Anyhow, they gave a chance to all of us to conclude and this candidates took full advantage of it (I believe, it is very necessary to speak well while appearing for GD PI sessions). Then they gave us 10 minutes time to write our views on a paper within 300 words. PI was a cakewalk. Some candidates were asked very tough questions as i saw some of them coming out with confused faces and later interrogated by other candidates. My PI was a cakewalk. It had 5 questions in total regarding work ex, future plans. I came out with a dull face as I had prepared for a longer duration of PI. I had so many things to tell them , about my achievements, co-curricular activities and so on. They didn't ask me anything and i couldn't tell them as they were too rapid as they have to finish a task of conducting PI of all in 1 hour. I really suspect the admission process. The plus point is that there were many candidates with CAT score above 80 and even 90+ percentile who had come to apply.

There are rumours that the students there belong to mostly NCR Attendance required is 75%.
Now the result is announced and they have given me the desired programme. I am wise enough to decide and so you are. This is my unbiased opinion and personal observation during the whole process. Not intended to hurt or impress anybody. All the best. 
plz tell me about placement scenario of indira school of business and studies..! how is the college as a whole in every aspect..?
@pm199010 Percentile in MAT is v. good, moderate in CAT. I gave it in chandigarh (just for fun, i like the city

@pm199010 if you already know it is 90 %, then why asking questions. I doubt the figure(being a resident of delhi) as the placement scene was not upto the mark. Anyways i would suggest you to call the Admission cell and connect with seniors on FB, you may get the real picture. ATB

@augusttin07 my friend, IMS Ghaziabad is an average college. The palcements are fine but no one till now now has recommended me IMS, Ghaziabad. To be vry honest, i don't have any depth knowledge about IMS .Let me give you a reference from my private facebook chat with one of the IIM mentor and he recommended me, some of the below colleges. Last yr's avg was 3.1L as per mandatory disclosure. This yr will not be better taking into account the job market. I don't trust the website placement figures of any college.
@amm789 yes cant trust 4 any college now....but jims is a brand name yar...in delhi every one knows jims...most of the crowd from delhi is from jims...but yes placement is a isuee..but at the same time if v join a diferrent college...so will they give gurantee for the placements???????

College can't be trusted on what they have written abt avg placements on their website. That's it.. Mandatory can be trusted more that the website.
JIMS has been doing really good for the last many years. It is a v good mat college and offers good roi. Placements is an issue because of overall job market its not specific to jims or any other college.
