I have a mat feb score of 644.5(83%),cmat feb score of 126,have 54% in 2nd year b.com(hons) from Calcutta University,will be appearing for final exam next month.Already filled SIESCOM,Mumbai application form and sent..what are my chances of admission there?
@9gaurav9 yar...JIMS mein har tarah ki companies aatee hain...jo 14000 pkg bhi deti hain aur 3.5 bhi aur 5.0lacs bhi....wo humaarey upar depend kataa interview key time kaisaa perform kartey hain aur kis tarah key profile mein jaana chhatey hain.....ho saktaa JIMS after 2 years may bring good packages....you never know, as there is always scope for improvement...JIMS mein 18,000 bhi offer kartee hain kuch companies, 20,000 k bhi.....bas...presence of mind honaa chahiye....aur confidence bhi. JIMS kaa feedback mujhey bhi kuch zyaada badiyaa nahee milaa...but i am going for it. As it brings good companies at its campus....although package offered by them is less.............education kabhie waste nahee jaatee....aur destiny kaa kuch nahee kehe saktey, ho saktaa JIMS, rohini sec 5 apney campus mein achey salary package bhi offer kar sakey. Future is uncertain....

@Hitesh.c87 look previous 2 years placement if jims..it was very good highest package was 12 lkh...or for this yera actual placements results we will get to know around june july
@satyam.maitrai dude..is it not at all possible to convert amity noida gen mba..if one doesnt have 60 in grad...?? even i appeared for gd/pi on 19th march

No,nothing like that,come to the Amity's thread,and you will find many people with grads as 54 making to MBA-Gen.

to make facts very clear,i wd like to mention that ,60% in graduation was NEVER the criteria of Amity,it was and is,10th-60%,12th-60% n "Grad-50%",so there shall be no issue at all ,if a guy gets admitted at 50% in Grad,i wd really appreciate if you can quote me a case of Amity admitting a students below the mentioned percentage in the respective class.............secondly the session of Amity starts in the month of july,n therefore the claim for Amity admitting students under Mba-Gen program after july stands absolutely false.

it will just take 5 mins for me to change my signature to "being a senior of Amity",and then start spreading rumors about the Institute 😃 ;i hv attended the interview on 19th of this month,and hv got all the facts regarding admission and placements verified from the authorities as well as the students at campus,what i mentioned was about MBA-Gen program,and i m pretty confident that the admission process freezes in the month of July,you can confirm the same with the genuine authorities.
@satyam.maitrai when i visited tge campus..spoke with seniors thet told me roi is very poor here..look for other options leave this as ur last option coz in amity u will get admission anytime..as it is a university and thats the reason they have around 700 studenrs for mba...and yes i m also talking about mba general programme...

as far as MAT based college is concerned ,it has the highest MAT cutoff among all the colleges in India(85%ile),Time ranks it at Number 1 (under MAT Colleges) ,what reviews i got from the seniors are pretty much contradicting than that of yours,may be the one you quoted is the story of those seniors those who hv their cgpa less thn 6,and hence were not made to sit for placements in good companies(so fulmination on the institute was pretty obvious)
becz if companies like WallMart,RBI,Crisil,TCS can come to the campus,i will absolutely blame the performance of students to be the factor for not bagging a convert in these companies rather than the Institute who brought these.
