PGPM is not a degree... They generally give you two diploma of 11 months each and call both of them as PGPM. As AICTE dies not allow colleges to run full time programs with duration of more than 11 months without approval.
Due to non approval you will not be able to sit for placements in Govt sector and PSU's. JIMS and Jaipuria are better compared to IBS.

That,s the case almost everywhere this year.. Placements are not very good on the whole this year

Though there has been an overall slowdown in Placement but let me also emphasize here that the demand for good manpower by no means has come down and on the other hand HR managers are more than eager to close the offer letter at the earliest.

@AJSAM92 and recently came to know dat at ITM NM dis yr the avg pkg is bw 2.5 - 3.4 lacks , nd sm even gt a pkg of 1.8 lakhs.

@devils_i this is demotivating and shocking. because many guys here have been saying that avg at itm is 4 to 6 lacs. the roi is seriously very low

There is slump in the market. Even big premier colleges have suffered this year. We can only hope that the situation changes by the time we pass out :P
