Secured 99.26 %ile in Language Comprehension ........
Can i get any college through Sectional cutoff

in MPMET i got 391 rank UR with 110 marks.
Shall i go for colleges through MET or MAT ?

10th-80.33%
12th-64.40%
B.Tech(EEE),2011 pass out-6.68 c.g.p.a.

my composite score of MAT may 2012 is 660.5 and my percentile is 86.62. can u suggest me the TOP colleges that wil accept my scorecard as m confused where to find the cut off list. and also can u tell me wen is their last date for applying to various colleges separately?

Through what medium will the colleges (the 5 colleges that had been filled thru MAT) call me if they have to. wil dey email me or call me or...

I have given the MAY MAT 2012.


Here are my acedemic scores.


10th ==>> 52%


12th ==>> 62%


Graduation ==>> 36%


MAT Composite Score ==>> 542.5


MAt Pecentile Below ==>> 50.97


I got the marks which was least expected by me..unfortunatly...

please could you suggest any good colleg where i can get admission with this score...and wat else do i have to do....for extra effort.

Intrested College Location: Pune, Ahmdabad.... anywhere except Kolkata

Yes you have to apply to the colzs separately...........
every colz has their diff application fee.....
and some of good colz....

JIMS has closed its application for PGDM General and IB course as seats are full but it invites application for PGDM - Retail & marketing management course which i dont recommend to anyone...and almost every B-school with limited seats like 120/180/240 are full so options are very limited now...

please avoid such kind of colleges :nono:...some of the best Mat colleges are -
Christ, BIMM, ITM NM, JIMS, SIES, IILM, NDIM....
seats are almost full every where but u can apply at IILM and NDIM they have huge batch size and seats are always there :)

your MAT score is very low, try to score above 90%ile in Dec/Jan mat next year if u want to get admission in reputed colleges mentioned above :biggrin:

Surinder your profile is very good but you are very late now as most of the good b-schools are full right now, as you are an engineer i would suggest you to try for a CAT allied b-school next year and get some work-ex also which might add a great advantage to ur profile, ur profile is good so aim for good colleges and if you want to go for MAT colleges then apply through Dec/Jan mat score when maxmimum seats get filled
