If you all are looking for good colleges under MAT the the list is as follows

jims rohini, SIES Mumbai, jaipuria lucknow and noida, empi, BIMtech (for few programs), Christ and Alliance (expensive), bimm. These are not all but few good. if you want I can give you area specific also.

iilm gurgaon is a complete NO. it is not approved and student feedback is at its lowest. IBS and Infinity are also not approved. they may be good but for your future's sake, go for approved one.

@rajatjain10 how is upes, dehradun????? is it worth doing mba frm dere????
It is a good college. you can go for it.

which one is better- jaipuria lucknow or kirloskar harihar ?
Just checked both their mandatory disclosures. Jaipuria Lucknow turns out to be much better in terms of filling seats, % of students placed and avg packages.

Aaran it depends upon which course you want to study, either mba or pgdm...if u want a master's degree then worry about aiu approval but if pgdm u dont have to
@Aaran MBA is required only in case a student wants to go for Phd in future. Even for govt. jobs PGDM is accepted. PGDM is more dynamic and flexible compared with MBA.

Placements of the main program are decent and good number of companies including psu's visit upes. But remember that it is a domain specific program and not all programs attract good companies. would suggest you to keep options open.
@amm789 okk.. hv heard dat placements deterioting day by day.......

Low placements is an overall market scenario and not specific to any one college. It is even true for the top most colleges. Companies are recruiting less, paying less and are focusing on retention and training current employees for increasing productivity. We as recruiters are making our recruitment process difficult and selecting only the best. In many colleges we even go back without selecting even a single candidate.

Very few colleges will accept this and share it with you.

So don't worry and focus on getting into the best possible college and work hard, not only in academics but in extra curricular activities also.

All the best
@amm789 thankss .... should i go fr other b-schools rather than upes???? or is it really worth to pursue mba in upes????? plzzz suggests...

As i said, you should keep your options open.
@fazer55 - upes is no doubt a good clg i did apply for it bt the problem is that it is very narrow sector specific + if the sector is not going in a good condition ....... changing from 1 sector to another is difficult .

pm any one

SIG is one of the niche college in India .. in the field of Geoinfo....according to me the cut-off.. should range between 30-40 percentile..
