For  Xth cetificate - DOB Proof * can we put the 10th marksheet, where DOB is provided? Because I dont think CBSE students have been provided with any other certificate

 

In MDI application form, only 5 subjects are taken into account and the percentage is calculated based on those 5 subjects only. I have 7 subjects in both class 10 and 12. 

So should I change anything or is this expected?

MDI Gurgaon Placement Process is a SCAM #4 Chapter 2: Flipkart Role: Management Trainee (HR and Supply Chain), CTC: 26.45 LPA Placecom released a list of 11 select students who were NOT allowed to apply to Flipkart because of a so called placement activity dock( Placecom is not liable to give the reason for the same!). The students were told to apply on an internal link (ONLY) and No external portal link of Flipkart was floated. Everyone who had applied was supposed to appear for a test (as seen in the below image), for which the link was to be sent by Flipkart. But, a few of the students did not get the test link even after applying ( Which can very clearly mean only one thing: Placecom did NOT forward their applications to Flipkart). The common trait between the students who did not get the Flipkart test link even after applying and the students who were not allowed to apply was that they all had a strong Operations background with either prior workex or summer internship in Operations domain. All of this was done by placecom so that three Placecomers, Mr. A, Mr. G and Mr. K could somehow get placed. After Flipkart had made their preference list following the conduction of the entire process, the placecomers were LOW on the preference list ( Incompetency STONKS). Now, Placecom LIES to Flipkart that some of students already got placed in parallel company processes so that placecomers could get a chance to get placed. Even after all this "highly thoughtful" plotting & scheming, GUESS WHAT These dim-witted placecomers were NOT selected by Flipkart. What's even more SHOCKING is that the company did NOT get the desired pool of students to interview and the desired number to select as the deserving students with relevant profiles and work ex were NOT EVEN GIVEN a FAIR chance. This is out rightly an act of DEFRAUDING the students, the marquee recruiters & the esteemed institution! So I ask again, Is this amount of UNREGULATED POWER given to the Placecomers to fulfil their PERSONAL AGENDAS justified at the COST of BATCH placements, college REPUTATION & RELATIONSHIP with recruiters?

Do we have to create "Coslidated Marksheet(as of now)" by ourselves? As only results upto 6th Semester (Total 8 Sems) is available. What to do there? @Pronto22

( *Co-incidence STONKS*) And again, the students were asked to apply *only* on an *internal link* and *No external portal link* of ITC was floated to the batch. When the shortlist was released, it was nothing short of a *joke*. All strong *Sales & Marketing profiles* ( who were allowed to apply) were *MISSING* from the shortlist. A 12-year-old child who knows nothing about these things would have made a better shortlist. Even, a random generator on Excel would have made a better shortlist. This can mean only one of two things: either all of the *applications were not sent* to ITC or that ITC were *fed with incorrect, rubbish & manipulated data* of the batch *(has happened in the past as well)* so as to embellish the profiles of a *select few placecomers & their close friends.* All of this was done by placecom so that *four placecomers, Mr. A1, Ms. A, Mr. G and Mr. K* could somehow get placed. But as has been the case till now, again *none of these INCOMPETENT placecomers* were able to get themselves placed and the *story of fraudulent practices continued.* Not just this, but also the *deserving candidates missed out* (yet again) and the company did not get a chance to look at the profiles and students who would have been a better fit for them. *BONUS:* Even after all of this had been brought to the *notice of the authorities and administration* in charge of looking after these things, *NO ACTION* whatsoever was taken. On the contrary, there was an “open house” (The entire administration at MDI *doesn’t believe in written communication* over emails, notices or otherwise because then they will be *held responsible & accountable for their words* ) held wherein the *Dean of Placements* said things like: *"If these people (referring to placecom) are there, only then we all are here, due to them only our college functions.”*, “Even placecomers are not able to get their dream companies”, “In these difficult times, the students should compromise" etc.. This again goes on to reaffirm the amount of *UNREGULATED POWER* "placed" in the hands of a select few ( *Elongated Stanford Prison Experiment* as rightly put by someone) and the backing they get from the higher authorities. The batch was also asked to “extend support” to their “own placecom” so that placements can be conducted smoothly. *(Hypocrisy STONKS)* So the questions here are: Are the people in *Administration* right in *turning a blind eye* to such *unethical & fraudulent practices* being carried out? Or maybe they are staying quiet because they themselves have *given the POWER to the placement committee* to orchestrate the *joke,* oops sorry, I mean the *placement process?*

Is having a hard copy of cosolidated marksheet necessary?

I have a digital copy. Will that be enough for the interview or is a hardcopy required?

I have made a mistake converting my cgpa to percentage in my mdi form I have already sent a mail to authorities about this error what to do now??

1. You have to print the form and write your hobbies/Achievements by hand and scan it. There is no deadline to fill this form, but we advise you to not leave it for the last moment.

2. Once you receive your interview link, reply to the same email with your self attested documents and the scanned application form.

Chapter 4: DE Shaw (HR)

Role: Human Capital & Talent Acquisition, CTC: 29.25 - 29.75 LPA

Since all of the fraudulent practices had started surfacing and the batch had started asking questions, the Placecom decided to stoop lower than they already had. 

Following the trend we've seen so far, they again didn’t send all of applications to the company. But to ensure that the students don’t ask questions, they added the names in the shortlist before releasing it to the batch. So basically, the company had a list of 13 students but the batch was shown a shortlist of 16 students. Again, if you ask what is common between those three candidates, you see that all of them have previous workex in the Finance domain. ( And only these 3 had their work experience in the Finance domain). These students were made to sit all day long in a virtual mess ( An idiotic concept that exists only at MDI wherein all the shortlisted students are asked to sit on a Zoom call all day long and they would be put into breakout rooms when they would have an interview scheduled. Then they would have to join the interview room, generally on Teams or some other platform, when asked to do so by the placecom. All day long one has to sit in front of their systems and stare into nothingness, waiting to be put in a breakout room and be informed of your interview slot) and not even have a chance to be interviewed because their profiles were not even shared. ( Either it is a mother of all coincidences that an investment management firm didn’t want anyone with experience in finance i.e. Futures First, JPMC & SBI or it is that there was some major foul play here)

All of this was done by placecom so that Mr. A3 could get placed and he did. ( Who knows what other plotting must have been in the backend to make this happen, like lying to the company that their preferred candidates have already been placed in a parallel process. It was done before and, in all likelihood, it must have happened here too)


Bonus: 

When certain students ( with good workex & summer internships at top firms) who were bearing the brunt of all this, decided to address the same to the Dean of Placements, he ordered the placecom to ensure that they are placed the very next day in whatever company they can rig the process, irrespective of the interest/preference of those students, so as to shut their mouths. Example: In the GD process of a premier broadcast satellite service provider, 6 out of the 9 students ( All of them were unplaced) were asked to tank a process ( One has no option but to oblige and adhere to the instructions given), so as to facilitate the placement of a particular student who was raising their voice.


So the question needs to be asked again, HOW LOW can the PLACECOM BE ALLOWED TO STOOP WITHOUT FACING ANY CONSEQUENCES? And as the DEAN OF PLACEMENTS at a premier institute, IS IT RIGHT TO MAKE THE PROCESS MORE UNETHICAL JUST TO SHUT PEOPLE DOWN INSTEAD OF ADDRESSING THE ISSUE AT HAND? Should SHORT-TERM GAINS of a FEW PLACECOMERS be PUT ABOVE the REPUTATION OF THE INSTITUTE & the RELATIONSHIP WITH THE RECRUITERS And are THESE PRACTICES SUSTAINABLE IN THE LONG RUN HOW LONG CAN THE INSTITUTE SURVIVE WITH SUCH PRACTICES?

While filling the form of MDI in Sept/Oct I filled in my graduation status as appearing. Final year exams of my university were delayed due to COVID and were conducted in mid-October (which should have been conducted in May, 2020). So will this cause any problem? 

Also, since my final year exams were postponed while filling the form I filled in approximate details of graduation, I filled in CGPA as 8.04 but my actual my actual CGPA turned out to be 8.07 so is there anyway to make the same change in my form?

Hi, I have not been given a consolidated marksheet by the University. I called them admissions office and they asked me to send the final year marksheet with provisional degree certificate. Do I send along the other year marksheets too?

What is the last wailtlist number that got converted for PGDM, PGDM HRM??


@Pronto22 In MDI form which we need to self attest..What if we dont have any payslip but have joining and experience certificate..So can we upload that without payslip?
