Key note speaker- Mr M R Kumar, chairman LIC started event with discussion of calling India the fastest growing economy. Talking about insurance he said that changes are happening, but at a slow pace due to IRDAI regulations. He said that increasing the penetration is not only the duty of the companies but also of the government. He also discussed about rising job opportunities due to I.T implementations in the sector. He talked about value creation in both the asset and liability side of the business.

Cut off scores for shortlisting for GD/PI :-
CAT : 72.5 percentile for General / 67.5 for OBC-NC / 62.5 for SC/ST/DA.
CMAT : 87.5 percentile for General / 82.5 for OBC-NC / 77.5 for SC/ST/DA.
Fees : Rs 9.43 lacs for two years. Hostel charges Rs. 3.07 Lacs for two years including Boarding charges.
