My experience in IT is around 29 months .. I would have liked to go for Marketing otherwise but given that my 2+ IT experience will make me ineligible for most of the marketing profiles , i am planning to do it in Operations .
1.Please let me know if 2+ of IT experience makes it extremely difficult to land a marketing job .. if eligible then in what sector (like telecom , ecommerce) . I want to go for ecommerce positions actually..
2.I am earning around 6.5 lpa currently .. does our previous package in any way influences how much we get post an MBA ?
3.Operations isn't generally considered a great deal in SCMHRD - NMIMS colleges so will it be ok if i choose Operations or should i go for Finance ( though i don't have much inclination towards it but still ok if job prospects are better ) .
I have calls from SCMHRD and NMIMS .. both were good ..
If one makes it to the first merit list, does he have to go to Mumbai for the admission process? And by when do we pay the first year fees?

Can someone tell me if there is any difference between the placement process of freshers and people with work-ex?? And is it necessary that the people with work-ex take up higher pay than people sans work-ex???
