Ok here is my story. I came all the way to Mumbai with my Dad to get a loan from SBI Juhu and secure an admission in Nmims. My merit rank is 732. After struggling for 3 days, I got the 7.5L DD today morning and went to Nmims for the admission process. Halfway into it, while looking at my documents, they said I am ineligible for admission due to my only backlog ever in my final semester (Couldn't attend a practicals due to ill health). Their logic was you can have any number of back papers during your 4 years but not in final year. However absurd it is, they weren't letting me ahead any further. Any pointers in the direction of such cases/experiences in the previous years? Secondly, they had asked us all certificates during gd-pi. Why didn't they point it out then? I wouldn't have taken all these trouble. Spent almost 20k for travel and all expenses.
Hey puys I have work ex but will get my exp certificate after 2 months...can i submit it at the time of commencement??

still we dont have an idea about the veracity of placement claims. it will be good if seniors and others who knows states some actual placement packages that are offered in NM. for fin, marketing and consultancy jobs.. median salary will clear many doubts of most of us.
