Retake is a curse, both mentally and money-wise.
Who asks for reapplication to nmims and pay the same again when one is paying already for a retake.

Going by what's written in the official handout, it seems that a candidate taking ALL THREE attempts has to PAY for:
1) THREE exams ( First Attempt plus TWO retakes)
AND
2) TWO NMIMS Institute Applications (First Registration and ONCE more sufficing for BOTH exam retakes)
To finally clear all the confusion, is this correct?
Or
NMIMS Institute Application also needs to be done THRICE, i.e once for EACH attempt?
"Also, please note that if the candidate is not satisfied by his / her NMAT by GMAC™ score in the first attempt he / she may appear for the test by going through the full process as a fresh NMAT by GMAC™ test by visiting NMAT.org.in and NMIMS (Deemed to-be-University) website both mandatorily & logging in with the allotted username and password. In case of candidates taking more than one attempt the score, which is the total score & its respective sectional score, which makes the candidate eligible as per the cut offs declared by NMIMS, will be considered for short listing for subsequent process. (Cut off means sectional as well as total score)."
are we supposed to apply for the college again if we are appearing for the retake ?

quant ..attempted 41 (6 educated guess).... expect t get more than 100
reasoning ...attempted 32 (5 guess )... expected score 72-90
verbal ...attempted 32 ..expected score 60--72

2013-15 batch - 2378 calls for 360 MBA core seats
2014-16 batch - 2289 calls for 500 MBA core seats
NMIMS Mumbai FTMBA selection criteria for 2014-16 batch:-
1) NMAT : 70%
2) Case Discussion : 10%
3) PI : 10%
4) Acads : 5%
5) Work ex : 5%
Last merit rank of the final convert for MBA core:-
2012-14 batch - 649 (300 seats for MBA core)
2013-15 batch - 787 (360 seats for MBA core).
Now, taking this into consideration, I understand scoring very high is essential to increase the odds of an admission ( due to 70% weightage to score). Anyone, pls. let me know what is the ideal score? (209-215: These are cutoffs, meaning, a rank of approx 2300. But to be in 500 rank, what would be the score?

Hi puys.. gave my first attempt of nmat on 1st of november. just want to share my experience.
I would rate the difficulty level of exam at 7 ( on the scale of 10 ) . LR was easy to moderate and quant and DI was also of the same level . Faced a single tricky question in DI which took a lot of time. Otherwise the section was quite ok and achievable. In LR, if you go through just by considering options, 3 out of 5 were easily eliminated. So, just scan through options in Quant and LR before you start to solve the problem. About English, very straight questions of reading comprehension were asked. Again, a moderate level.
P.S - Dont forget to take the xerox of the id and the same original id along with it. A couple of people in my slot failed to bring it. 😃
the Re-Take window for December-2015 is still closed? or filled completely?

hi i gave my nmat exam on 17 oct and as communicated in post before it belongs to 1st window and the result are out, but i am not able to see my result while others can. are result out as per date or per window??
