I have seen many post in which people are asking which college to choose in a particular specialization specially between SCMHRD and new IIMs, want to clear one fact, in new IIMs one only gets to choose his specialization ( or major/minor) subjects in 2nd year only, unlike in HRD where one need to choose it in 1st sem. And the major point is that the summer placements happen in 1st year, so if one who is interested in finance gets shortlisted and selected in company giving sales/marketing role he has to choose that company whether he is interested or not ( you can always underperform in an interview if you feel role is not suitable but it's a risk) and companies in HRD as well as new IIMs comes randomly (no cluster days like old IIMs), so always do extra research and be careful in choosing new IIMs if you are interested in a particular specialization, as you get shortlist for marketing company and you are interested in finance, then your summer experience won't be relevant if you tend to choose finance as major in 2nd year. Asking on a neutral group. I need some opinions on IMT Ghaziabad vs IIFT Kolkata for marketing. I'm a BBA fresher. I'm aware that IIFT might be considered a superior brand, but there's not much information about their Kolkata campus specifically. Trying to assess which one would be a better fit for me. Areas such as trade and finance don't interest me much.

My original waitlist number was #220. After 5th meritlist I'm at #53 WL(General category). What are the chances of getting a convert? If high chances, by when can I expect that?

guys when is the next list is going to be released for MBA BA ? does anybody

Do you guys think even though the course goes online we would have to pay 20l. As mess and hostel fee are not very high, tuition fee has to reduced for the course if it goes online.
