I converted in the 3rd list ...my wl number was 248 after the first merit list... I am mentioning it here because people waiting here for further results can judge me as I have few doubts regarding the college...it would be better if somebody clarifies it....?Ā 


1. If the college is not giving any buffer calls then why there is already 300+ movement? Still top b-schools results are yet to come. (pls don't give answers like people are leaving due to covid because no one is a kid here... everyone knows the current situation and then only decides to pursue mba)


2. Not only in sibm b, in many b-schools specially in symbi colleges( except SIBM Pune what I know) there is a lot of inflation in placement reports. See we all know every college has inflated placement reports upto some extent but in symbi colleges it's quite high. I have connected to many alumni and done a lot of researches on fb and linkedIn and I have evidence for the same.


3. Which tier does sibm b fall? As what I know it's tier 3 not tier 2 (after checking many rankings I am saying this)


4. Is it worth joining? The final oneĀ 


I don't have many better alternatives like lot of the guys here have. And for most of us MBA is going to be the last degree of life. So before investing my 21 lakhs here I just want some genuine clarification.Ā

Hello everyone, Congratulations to those who have converted sibm b till 3rd list. And the rest who haven't, are eagerly waiting for the further lists. All those who are waiting can understand the anxiety and frustration. Each list takes almost 15-20 days. Really it needs a lot of patience. And when list rolls out and you are not in, the frustration multiplies manyfold.Ā 


I just request those who have converted in 3rd list to clarify where they are going to join the college or not so that we can get a better insight of the movement in the next lists.


In 3rd list movement in general category was of 100. Don't know how many out of these 100 are now in this group but whoever is present pls participate in this poll to help those who are waiting. I expect maximum participation.Ā
