My original waitlist number was 109. I converted Sibm Pune in the 5th Merit list(4th waitlist) Waitlist movements: 25 25 40 66

Hey Guys,
I'm a BMS graduate speacialising in marketing. However due to personal reasons I'm thinking of shifting from marketing to finance during my MBA.
However Ive heard that companies recruiting for Fin in MBA usually look for candidates either with good acads/CA's or atleast someone with CFA lvl 1/2 cleared. Now my problem here is that my academics are not good (75 - 10th/66 - 12th/66 - Grads). And also I havent cleared any CFA levels. Hope you guys can shed some light on my perplexity
1) My acads not being good enough do you think I'll be that one odd person who will have extreme difficulty in placements in Finance. Or acads are not that of an important factor.
2) Im already having two years of experience in sales and marketing. Do you think this shift from marketing to Finance would create a problem in placements.
3) What job profiles do finance students get with average profile.
Ps. - If I end up deciding that I want to take up finance, I'll be doing some courses from udemy on finance so that knowledge gap isnt something that is pulling me back.
