Latest placement data for 2017 batch? When can we find it on website?
If we get admission in first round, how much fees we have to pay to secure admission (deadline is 30th march i guess)..?? what is refund policy if we wish to cancel admission later..?? induction program begins on 17th April.. what is this actually.??
Farewell note : Class of 2017, SIOM
Adyant : A day to say our good byes; a time to cherish and preserve the memories. And what better way to do that than having the last lecture for batch 2015-2017 delivered by Smt. Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairperson, State Bank of India.
Arundhati Bhattacharya, 30th most powerful woman on the planet, as per Forbes and her journey from a probationary officer at the age of 22 to becoming the Chairperson of the State Bank of India has been nothing short of magnanimous. Given the inspirational figure that she is, it is needless to mention that having her as the Chief Guest for "Adyanta -The Last Guest Lecture", was a moment of pride for the institution. She shared the stage with Mr.Pradeep Bharghav, Director Cummins (India). The welcome address was delivered by Dr.Rajani Gupte (Vice Chancellor SIU) and Dr. Vidya Yerwadekar (Principal Director of Symbiosis) also addressed the students. The best students’ award was conferred to students by Honourable Smt.Arundhathi Bhatacharya.
Mr.Pradeep Bharghav spoke about the 4 principles that he would follow if he would graduate today- sanskar (ethics), sthirtha (stability), samman (honour) and santulan (balance).
Smt. Arundhati Bhattacharya spoke about 3 main principles that one should follow as we move ahead in the ladder of life. The first one is to try to surround ourselves with people who are more intelligent than us. The second is that one should be a good listener and the third is integrity. One should selflessly give up oneself to inspire rather than to motivate. She ended her speech by saying that our priorities should be well defined starting from the nation, to the organization and lastly self.
This was followed by a CEO connect where we had people from companies like Crompton Greaves, Bosch, Mahindra and Mahindra, ABB, MACCIA, Nashik Engineering Cluster, BIZSOL, Reliable Autotech, EPCOS, Rishabh Instruments and Positive Metering Pump, along with our chief guests interacting with students and faculty. They discussed matters relating to upcoming technologies and demonetization with one another.
i have heard tat companies tat come to siom prefer ones with 2+ years of work exp. currently i hav 20 months of exp n by the time college commences ill b having arnd 22+ months of work exp. so if i convert n decide to join will i b considered as a fresher compared to ones having 2+ years of exp? @sagarcat pls thrw sme light on this
Do the freshers with no work experience face difficulties in getting placed? Arey they compensated with the lowest packages? Please share your personal experiences which you have had in SIOM for this case.

Being a fresher what extra can i do to improve my cv during placement so that i can get the same package that one's work experience get. I am be graduate 2016 passout. Also what has been the avg package for freshers? ???
Having 13months experience.....I would consider as experience or person having 20month+ experience is considered as experienced
