1. I have a dual degree (BTech + MTech) of duration 5 years. How should I break them into graduation and post graduation cos there is no system of breaking them into two in my institute? SHould I just select "Others" in Graduation Degree and then fill it up as Dual Degree (BTech + MTech)?
2. CPI/CGPA/marks obtained - Should I fill my final cgpa? Or the cumulative average? As both are slightly different?
3. What is discipline code? Could you tell me the disciplline code for engineering?

Hello everyone, I have seen a lot of queries & responses in this group based on the below RTI filed in 2019 regarding the composite score cut-off for SJMSOM admissions. However, there are certain keen observations here, which needs to be considered before inferring that the Composite score cut-off has always been so high for SJMSOM, IIT Bombay:
1) The RTI is dated as 11th Feb 2019 which implies that it is related to the CAT score of 2017 and not 2018; because SJMSOM rolls out the WAT/PI shortlist in mid-February every year and hence there is no way that they would release the cut-off before releasing the shortlist.
2) Finally, the reason the Composite score cut-off during the Admission year 2018-19 went so high is because CAT 2017 was a relatively high scoring one, the score needed for 99%ile was as high as 175. And since the 80% weightage given to CAT considers the score and not percentile, it ended shooting up the Composite score.
Hence, I would say that do not worry much about the Composite-score cut-off while applying.
P.S: I am a GEM with CAT 2017 percentile of 96.23, and I did receive a call.
Hey. Anyone knows about the tentative dates of interview in Bombay. Scared because I've booked XLRI interview on 8th in Bangalore. Stupid decision from my end, but have to now try the best I can
Please share the tentative dates for the interview, I need to make sure that clashes are avoided
