As we have to pay 2,27,850 to confirm seat but this includes fee like hostel, mess, library etc which we will not be using as offer letter states that IIT bombay is not providing hostel accommodation for the first year due to possible online teaching, then why are we getting charged with all these fee? I mean by rough calculation, it's hardly around 1,10,000 if we deduct all the above mentioned fee? Can any senior from AdCom pls tell about this ?

Because of increase in seats and the current COVID situation

Can we expect a considerable increase in WL this year

PS I’m waitlisted at 352 and last years waitlist was just over 250 (this is what I read )and the year before that was just over 200

Now I’m not certain about this information but any amount of clarity would help ?!!
