i hav taken up the finance specialization so am startin in dubai.....wud like to know if anyone else here is startin in jan at dubai.......would be great to get to know people beforehand.....so if deres anyone here lemme kno....lookin forward to meet ya guys

You may try for the June 08 intkae in that case.

jus wanna know 1 thing abt the placements..for the Jan'08 intake IT guys wud start in Dubai and during the placemnt time they wud b in Singapore or wud they fly to Dubai campus 4 placements. wat i exactly wanna knw is if IT guys wud get placed at singapore campus or Dubai campus..Please suggest !!!

Hi,
Where you start and where you end your programme doesnt matter. Even if you end the prog in S'pore you could get placed in Dubai and vice versa.
We have hi tech video conferencing facilites due to your geographical location doesnt affect your chances of getting placed in either of the places.

Hi Rutty,
I have one basic doubt.
Today my status got updated to WAITLIST for the evaluation process.
I have already mentioned all my test scores and all relevant details.
My doubt is , it is said that im falling short of some criteria and periodically it will be reviewed and if i satisfy, I would be called for the evaluation.
All the data being the same right from the beginning, how will i satisfy your criteria suddenly in the future, if now in waiting list?

Hi Dhivya,
That is upto the Admissions Commitee - some times a student is outstanding in some areas but falls short on some otehr criteria or he/she maybe what u call "borderline" . Such students maybe waitlsited at first but as and when the Admissions Commitee decides -it may want to give the student a chance to go through the evaluations.

A request to you. I have appeared for evaluation at Dubai Campus on 20th Oct.

till now we havent recieved any updates about result. Can you please get us any infomation for the same as I have to resign accordingly and take care for my visa cancellation from the company which is a hectic proces.

I am GMBA(Jan Batch) aspirant.I have given SPCAT test on 30th Sep and my score was 92%.
I was shortlisted for 2nd round and give 24/25 Nov Date for 2nd round of Selection and was supposed to come to Mumbai.
I called up GMBA Office in Mumbai to POSTPONE my GD/PI Dates(I was not able to come on 24/25 Nov (IIFT Exam)),they refused to Change my dates,in the meantime i also mailed on [email protected].

I was prepared to come on 24 Nov but then i recieved mail from Gmba side that my Evaluation Dates will be Changed if possible.But after that i tried to contact gmba several times,but no positive reply about my Evaluation Dates(if they are to be changed).I had mailed several times and response from Gmba side is not Clear.I told them that i need to know my evaluation dates as I ahve to arrange my Air tickets,Take Leave from office...but they are not replying..

Kindly look into this matter..
