I know it may be too early to ask, but I wanted to know when will the forms for Jun/Jul intake will be out. CAT results will be out in 1st week of Jan and XAT will be out somewhere in 2nd week of Feb, will the forms be out after both the results.

Hi Rutty,

Appreciate your patience and efforts in clearing our doubts, many of my questions were answered by going through the clarifications provided by you in the previous posts.

I applied for Januray intake during mid-november. I got a call letter asking me to give the exam on 7th December and subsequently attend the evaluations (E/CS, GD, GI and PI) on 7th, 8th or 9th. In this context I have 2 questions:

1. Website says that "Last date for payment of all fees / monies - November 30, 2007". This point is not clear as the evaluation process is going to be in December. Could you please throw some light on this regarding when would be the last date for payment of fees, approx. how much time would be provided to pay the fee etc

2. I read that classes for January intake are going to start during January first week. If I attent evaluation process on 8th, then as mentioned by you the admission decision would take approximately a week, in which case I would know the decision by 15th Dec. After which there is just 2 weeks left before the classes start. Is 2 weeks time sufficient for VISA process and to complete other formalities ?

Your help in this regard would be appreciated!

Thank you for the interest shown in S P Jain, Dubai-Singapore's GMBA (January intake) program.
We are in receipt of your application and on screening the same we find you falling short on some of our admission criteria due to which we have kept you on our waiting list. Periodically (there is no specific time frame for doing so - it is done as and when the need for doing so arises) this list is reviewed and students moved to the evaluation process. Please check this website at regular intervals to ascertain if there has been any change in your admission status.

I gave my interview about 4 hours ago. Is it that they have declared the results? I was slotted for R2 of evaluation on 24-11-2007 (2:00PM). I attended the GD,Panel Interview and the interview with the director.
my application number is 18500-GLM

Hi Rutty,

I have a GD\PI call schduled for 8th Dec.

Can you advice me on how many seats are left to be filled in this last drive for finance related fields( IB & WM ). Further since it takes a week for intimation regarding success in Gd\PIs a 15-20 time frame would be tough for
1> Getting loans sanctioned in such short span
2> Getting a proper releiving from my current employer within stipulated timeframe

So in a worst case scenario will the candidate be allowed for a June'08 joining. Can you plz throw some light on the options available.Also as requested before can you please provide Avg Indian Placements in INR including the lowest & Max ones in Finance ( IB & WM ).

I also have an interview schedule for the 7th dec in mumbai staarting with a written in the morng and then the gd/pi in the afternoon...
could someone pls guide me as to what type of written would this be and also what would be the schedule for the gd/pi.What kind of essays/case studies would be asked.I have applied for the GLM profile.

Also, I am joining the BM field, so I wanted to know how are the placements and what are the profiles offered because that is not detailed in the web-site. What are the possiblr profiles being offered.?

Hi,
The last date for payment of fees mentioned on the website was for the previously offered students. You will obvoulsy hvae another date as the last date for fee payment.
We will try and process the offers asap and maybe you might get them before the 15th also. There will be sufficient time to complete all formalities

If you go thru the evaluations and are selected only then you have the option to defer your admission.
If you want to defer it right now it is not possible - you will have to apply afresh for the June 08 intake.

I have applied for jan intake batch , they have called me for dec 7 evaluation process , i think its late for jan batch as the visa and fees paying process will be very hetic ,can I postpone my admission for jun 08 batch with the same application no.
