Hi.

You may apply now and mention that you would be taking the test - but we do not invite or call students to tkae the test - all students should be aware that we do not shortlist candidates without a score.

Alternatively you may take the test and then apply.

the SPJAT is like any otehr MBA entrance test - Maths, Logic, Verbal, GK are some of the areas we test you on

Hi,

i want to apply for global MBA program, i wish to give the SP jain aptitude test so do i need to fill in the application form and mention there itself that i wish to give the Aptitude test and they'll call me for that OR do i need to give the aptitude test first and then i need to provide them with the score in the application.

and hows the aptitude test.?? is it similar to CAT ?? where can i get the details?

Yes there is a problem in the GMAT section as the dates for the YEAR column only range till 2007.

Pls convey this message to your IT department.



I do not understand - we require you to fill the date - there is no restriction o n the year you enter - pls clarify so I can convey this to my IT dept.

In any case we will accept 2008 scores - bascially we accpet GMAT scores of upto the past 2 years

Yes GMAT id is the same as GMAT regn.

You may apply now and submit your GMAT score after 21st jan 08

I have filled in my complete application with User Id: manavvirdi

But the Gmat section is showing Gmat Date till 2007 whereas I'm planning to give it on 21 Jan 2008.

Could you pls help me with this.

Is 2008 Gmat not acceptable?
Can i submitt my aplication as of date and submitt the GMAT score after 21 JAN '08?

And Is GMAT ID ( acc to MBA.COM) and GMAT Registration Number acc. to you the same.?

Pls reply at the earliest as a day missed , would make my chances to get into your prestigious institute much more difficult.

pls remove all apostrophes, quotes, commas from your application and then try and submit the same.
if it still doesnt work pls email our IT dept

well you havent mentioned your undergraduate degree scores ( of ALL years) maybe it wasnt a first class...that could be one of the reasons

Im afraid you cannot access your form for the Jan 08 intake. You would have to apply afresh if you wish to be considered for the May 08 intake. The applications have started since Dec 23rd 07 for the May 08 intake

what chance do i stand -
totalpercentile 97.5 , with following breakups-
quants - 10 %ile ,
di- 99%ile and
english- 99.7%ile ,

Profile -

Area Sales Manager ,ICICI Bank .(Liabilities group)

will be completing 1 year in june 08 ,
MBA -Sydenham (67% , first class)
B.COM- 57%(Calcutta University)

There is no surety of your being waitlisted - maybe you have more work ex to make up for your 2nd class in the 2nd year of engg.
It all depends on the ADmissions Commitee.

I have a query, I don't have a first class in my first and second year of engineering, but I do have an overall first class for all years (i.e avg of 1 to 4). Am I eligible for the GMBA programme. I have 84.83 percentile in CAT 2007. Also, I have work ex of over 2 years in IT with Patni Comp which is one of India's leading Software firm. Kindly reply

Hi,
I have scored 85.07 percentile in CAT 2007. (V 21,Q 71,DI 95 percentile)

1. Do you consider sectional cutoffs for admission?

2. Do i need to take SPJAT or is this above the Cut off for the GMBA Program and suitable for Evaluation?

3. I submited my form before CAT Results. Do we need to send a mail about the CAT Score since i did not find a link in my application form to update the same?

When i last applied in Nov 07 i had 62 months of work ex ....
Today i have 65 months of wrk ex !
Do u think 3 months more would have such an effect that my application which was waitlisted last time will be accepted now ?? :smile:
