I would not have any statistics to give you reg placemtns for the HRM spec as this a new spec we have started with the Jan 08 batch.
However I would like to inform you that we introduce new streams and phase out older ones based on intense research , market trends, industry demands etc - hence we felt tht there was a great demand for professionals in the HR industry and so we decided to introduce this spec.
Many students had asked the same questions like you when we started our GLM programme in 06. The placement statistics of this stream are there for all to see.

As per my perception my GD/PI/Essay were very good. Later on I came to know that a second interview was also taken by the Director Sir, but I was told that I can leave for the day. Dear Madam,This is to inform you that i have attended the evaluation process on 8th March(1300hrs slot).During the documents verification i was unable to produce my graduation passing certificate as i did not brought it,i had submitted the mark sheet though. The lady there told me to courier it to kalbadevi office,which i will be doing shortly.Please note that i have to go back home which is about two days from mumbai and had to courier it,so i will take around 4-5days to courier it. Some students may face only the panel interview while others may face the Personal interview as well. This selection is done on a random basis and does in no way indicate your chances of being selected or not.

It has been clealry mentioned on our website that the last round of evaluations for the May 08 intake would be on the weekend of 4th April 08.
You should recevie the call letter shortly.

i have a very specific question(s) for you. Q1.SPjain dubai is offering an HR course (first batch started in jan'0, what are the placements opportunities if I choose to join this prog . (thou this question has been asnswered but still i felt lill unsatisfied.
Q2. what would be the profile of the companies that would be coming for the placements -for HR batch only, and what is the expected average in-hand salary excluding perks etc.
Q3.i might sound negative but i understand that spjain mumbai is NOt offering an HR course, and I seriously believe that placing more than 300 students is a difficult for any institute. So what steps is the management taking to ensure the quality of course content-i mean for HR batch and placements for the same too.
Now talking about my own profile.
I am working with an MBA test prep institute for the past two years , where my work experience ranges from Business Development , Faculty(i teach english) and PDP - trainer. My company also has corporate offices in Dubai as well.
I'm a B.Sc. (nm) grad ... with second division.
what can i expect- return on investment time period would be.???

My status appears as waitlisted .If an individual does get selected on basis of this aptitude test , then what is the expected period by which he can expect a call for evaluation 2. My user ID is shankha_c . I do not have any application ID . Could you please share the same .
1. Well we would certainly appreciate a high entrance test score 2. As we would have the score on us - we would be doing the needful from our end.

I appeared for GD/ PI and director's interview on 8th, I am very much hopeful as my performance was good. Still, I am a little skeptical as I applied for IB and do not have a relevant work experience.
Also, I have seen the profile of current batch and it is full of guys like CA and experienced in relevant field.
What could be my chances considering my passion for the stream which was visible?

Well as you must have already read my posts stating that I ould not be able to give you any statistics on this as the first batch of HRM is yet to be placed. If you need such specific details and are not satisfied with the answers given then you would have to be patient and wait till the batch is placed in the next 6 months time. THe expected avg salary with be around the same as the rest of the streams.
How does it matter whtehr SPJIMR Mumbai runs the HRM spec or not? FYI SPJIMR Mumbai does NOT run the same streams as we do - the do not offer and MBA in IB or WM etc.
We have placed more than 300 students in the past with 100% success and would hvae no issue whatsoever doing the same in future,
The ROI is there for all to see - if the avg sal is 14.6 lakhs approx and the prog fees are of a similar amount - wouldnt the ROI happen in the first year itself!!

Dear Shankha, This waitlist is reviewed from time to time as and when need be by the Admissions COmmitee. However I cannot give you a specific date as to when this would happen.
Im sure you must h ave recd an application no via email - in any case if you are able to view your form - check the no mentioned right on top - that would be your application no.
