On a previous poll I posted, to compare XL BM vs SPJ Mktg, I think a lot of votes were from people who do not want to pursue Marketing. And a lot of freshers (no hard feelings here, sachi, but people with work ex definitely have a much more grasp and understanding of the corporate world and kind of roles there are in the market right now, and what future prospects they have). Keeping all of that in mind, and also the fact that SPJ does not bracket you into a specific industry (say FMCG, Consulting, Automobile, O&G, etc) within the first 3 months of joining through summer placements so you get to explore more to find the right fit, and also keeping in mind the vast HR alumni (mafia, some might say) that XLRI has developed across the entire corporate sector; I'm posting another similar poll here:
