Alarming....!! As per recent communications with the current batch.... The SIOM is been badly affected in Placement Stats... I urge all aspirants to be aware before joining this year. Also the officials will never release the true datas.
MBA aspirants who wanted to see themselves as future managers and CEO avoid yourself indulging in fake news of anykind from anyone. Let them be your close friends who have shared the message with you. In case you have any placement related query you can reach to admission committee team of SIOM and get your doubt clarified

The 3rd meritlist date is pushed to 29th Arpil ( as already posted by Karthik). Amidst the lockdown and the unprecedented Covid-19 situation the admin staff along with SIU is working really hard to get things going on time and also they are taking care that the students aren't facing any issues while completing the formalities. Kindly be patient as there might be delay in further proceedings, if things change in future (if any changes we will notify you).
Don't panic and stay safe, we are trying our level best that everything will go smoothly for you.
Incase of any doubts reach out to anyone from the admissions committee.

Hope you all are safe and doing well. Due to the current lock down scenario till May 3rd, 2020, the date of fee payment for 2nd Merit list candidates has been extended till 9th May , 2020. Hence the 3rd merit list will be released after this and we will notify the date appropriately.
For any queries and clarifications reach out to ADCOM members. Please dont buy any rumours or speculations on any platforms. We are here to solve all your queries and anxiousness. Reach out to us for authentic information. We are here for you.

Dear Aspirants
we can understand your concerns,about the changes in the date of the commencement of the programme but kindly try and understand the current situation. The current phase of the lockdown will end on 3rd May. After that the respective state governments along with the center will take a call on the situation. Once the universities will receive a guideline then only the things can be planned. Also taking these calls in a jiffy aint possible. The board members along with the senior management from SIU will have to give it a thorough look on this before any decision is finalised. Around 250 plus people will be on campus and will be travelling from different places. So considering the safety of everyone a decision will be made , which will be declared promptly. So we request you all to kindly cooperate, stay safe and don't believe in rumours.

Owing to the recent market scenario, if the choice of subject specialisation is not taken into account, which one would be a better choice among SIOM(Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management, Nashik) & GREAT LAKES CHENNAI PGPM ( 1 year program where job domain is mostly in analytics & consulting) . Keeping in mind -
1) The market scenario in 2021 & 2022
2) Among 'SCM & Ops' and 'Analytics & Consulting' which one to likely rise up early
3) The exposure provided by the two colleges that would facilitate my growth in the next 5-6 years down the line
4) Even if another crisis hits in the future , which field among the two (Operations and analytics&consulting) would help me survive in the corporate field.
5) Is PGPM accepted globally and would that help me get into a higher education
(I am considering all these factors so please provide your answers on the basis of this. You are free to add your own views,reasons & factors)
