Yes, IPMAT is required to apply for IPM at TAPMI Manipal. You can also use scores of JEE, SAT, JIPMAT etc.
The last date to apply for IPM was June 15,2023. The applications for BBA Honors are still open.

Assessment Flexibility: Unleashing Creativity Through Documentary Making at TAPMI!

At TAPMI, we believe in nurturing creativity and providing students with unique opportunities to showcase their talents. One such remarkable experience unfolded during our second term semester in the first year under the subject of Culture and Context. We were introduced to an exciting and unconventional assessment method - making a documentary!

What made this activity truly special was the flexibility of the curriculum. Professors gave us the freedom to decide how we wanted to conduct the assessment, allowing us to unleash our creativity and take ownership of our learning journey.

The project began with each group being assigned different topics related to Culture and Context. As part of our respective W.A.S groups, we embarked on an exhilarating journey to create a captivating documentary. The best part? We were entrusted with the entire process, from conceptualization to execution.

To ensure we had the right guidance and expertise, we were fortunate to receive support from the faculty of Shristi Art School. Their experience and knowledge became our guiding light as we built the outline and foundation of our documentary.

Every step of the documentary-making process became a memorable learning experience. We conducted thorough research, interviewed experts and individuals related to our topic, captured footage, and crafted a compelling narrative. It was an opportunity to dive into the world of storytelling, cinematography, and editing - a first for many of us.

But what truly made this experience remarkable was the camaraderie and synergy within our group. Collaborating with the right people made all the difference. We shared our strengths, complemented each other’s skills, and embraced the challenges together. The journey was not only about creating a documentary but also about building lasting friendships and memories.

Through this activity, TAPMI not only provided us with a platform to explore our creativity but also nurtured our teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities. It was a perfect blend of academic learning and practical application, fostering a holistic educational experience.

As we presented our final documentaries, we felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. Each group showcased their unique perspectives and brought important cultural aspects to the forefront. It was a celebration of our hard work, dedication, and the power of visual storytelling.
