Early Action admission results were announced on Friday, 16th Dec at 5 PM EST. Congratulations to all the admitted candidates. At the same time, I want to take a moment to speak to those who put in so much effort into the application but were unable to secure admission.
The Tuck Admissions Committee has the unenviable job of choosing from a large pool of exceptional candidates to fill a class of finite size. Please rest assured this is not reflective of a deficiency in your candidacy. I know it is very difficult to digest the news as a candidate who has put in so much effort into the application. The Tuck Admissions Committee goes through an emotional roller coaster ride since we get to know every candidate so well, and it's so difficult to make these tough decisions. I sincerely hope you take away the positives from this experience and I wish you all the very best in your future endeavors. If it may offer any comfort, we are happy to give specific feedback to those who couldn't secure admission if you request feedback. Please note that such feedback will only be forthcoming in summer since we're currently in the middle of the admissions cycle.
Sending you best wishes for all your future endeavors.
Now that the results are out, what happens to the candidates on waitlist? Here are some insights from the Admissions Committee on what it means to be on the waitlist and what candidates can do while they wait.
