Many prospective Indian applicants have wondered aloud about the age factor and how they (presumably, they consider themselves to be older at 31 or 32 years of age) might stack up against the pool of younger MBA applicants.
Here's Dia Draper, who currently is part of the MBA Program Office at Tuck, dispelling the myth that candidates have built around themselves regarding age being a barrier to entry into business school in general and Tuck in particular.

Here's the low down on Tuck's famous research-to-practice seminars. I won't belabor it since you'll be checking out the video anyway.

If you haven't yet figured out there's no such thing as a typical day at Tuck, well, there's no such thing as a typical week either. Here's one Tuckie's take on what one of his weeks looked like.

Tuck Treks come all shapes and sizes and hues - local, national, international, and span industries from technology to consulting to investment banking to everything in between. Here's one student's experience with a trek he was a part of which took him (and his classmates) to London.

Spring break at Tuck is over, and so is the hiatus on this platform. The student team from Tuck was in India for the past two weeks and got a ringside view of what makes the country's economy move, and the challenges the country faces. Each of them headed back to Hanover, wiser and more informed about India.
As Tuckies explore and get a sense of international business, here's an international student at Tuck relating her recruiting experiences.

If you haven't yet got a sense of the numerous paths Tuck students have taken to get to Tuck, how they shaped their individual experiences at Tuck, and the vastly different careers they're pursuing after Tuck, then this post is for you.
Check out Pathways, which shows how each Tuckie charted their path at and beyond Tuck.

These are timeless pieces of advice that have been given to generations of prospective applicants, but they're always important to reiterate. Here's the sought-after input from Tuck Admissions on how to communicate what could be potential stumbling blocks in your application.

Tuck's Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship is pre-eminent. The director of the PE Center at Tuck, Tom Naughton, is full of energy. Himself a Tuck alum, he is focused on bringing top names in the industry to the school and have students interact with them in a variety of settings. There's of course, research being done, and there's the flagship Tuck PE and Growth Ventures Conference that happens in late winter of every year. To know more about the PE Center, read the details from the man himself.

Spring break was packed with Tuck students traveling around the world to understand different countries, their cultures, and economies as part of the GIX. Just a team of Tuck students visited India, there were groups that went to Israel, UAE, Qatar, South Africa, Armenia, and so on. Here's a first person account of one of the students who was on the Israel GIX.

Here's an interesting thought: our friends are more popular than we are, and consequently they have more friends than we do. So, our friends are more extroverted than we are. So what about the social network in which a whole bunch of extroverts are hanging out? \
Turns out the extroverts in question continue to feel that the others in the network are more popular than they themselves are. So the more extroverted you are, the more you feel others are better extroverts than you. So introverts are actually affected by this phenomenon to a lesser degree.
These are all insights from a study that derives from surveys of incoming Tuck students by Tuck professors, Adam Kleinbaum and Daniel Feiler. For more on this insightful perspective on our social networks, read on:

Business school is not only about career and building a network. It's also about meeting highly motivated and successful people from different countries, who bring completely different perspectives, so that each interaction with your international classmates becomes a cultural learning. In the tight-knit community that is Tuck, this happens by default and the friendships that are forged are life-long. Case in point, the following post by a second year student:

A few days back, I had posted a student's experiences on the Israel GIX. Continuing the theme of global experiences at Tuck, here's another student's take on his experiences during the Japan GIX.

High alumni engagement doesn't even start telling the story of alumni involvement with Tuck and Tuck students. If one picture can say a thousand words, here is what it says about Tuck alumni.

When you're thinking of pursuing an MBA, when you're trying to choose between schools after getting admitted to a few of them, just think about which place makes you feel valued for what you are and what you bring to the table. Which place has hordes of alumni - all of them very successful in their own right - falling over each other to help you figure out your career questions? Which community enables you to excel and not simply because you're individually brilliant, but also because you're a committed team player?
Just think about these questions while you evaluate your future plans. In my own view, Tuck is the answer for each of these questions, and I'm sure continues to be the answer for generations of students who've passed through the hallowed halls of the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

A number of GIXs were organized over the spring break to various parts of the world. Followers of this thread have already read about the experiences of the participants of Israeli GIX. Here's a similar description from students who went to Netherlands on their GIX.
