This is a case of subjunctive mood in which if we have any wish or hypothetical desire we use....were in that case.....so correct option is "i wish i were a bird' option a.
hope it helps.....

@Estallar12 @shinoda @blackjack21

The correct statement is 'Seema feels uninterested in watching cricket'.
The word 'uninterested' takes 'in' with it when used with some verb. But it goes alone when used with a noun. Example: The director did not feel to consult the uninterested members of the board.
I hope I have cleared the doubt.

Point to be kept in mind #4

data / media / criteria

Data ,media and criteria are the plural words.
The singular of media is medium.
The singular of criteria is criterion.

P.S. : I have seen many learned people make blunder in 'criteria' and 'criterion'. So, thought to make it crystal clear here.
We all ,certainly, can NOT afford to make such blunders being IIM and/or IAS aspirants.

Point to be kept in mind #5
(This one is highly fabourite in competitive exams. )
Flammable / Inflammable

“Inflammable” means the same thing as “flammable”: burnable, capable of being ignited or inflamed. So many people mistake the “in-” prefix as a negative, however, that it has been largely abandoned as a warning label. !!!

little confuse..lets check testfunda tomo

Point to be kept in mind #6

Please read 'fabourite' as 'favourite' in my post above.

Infact / In fact

Incorrect: Infact
Correct: In fact

In and fact are 2 different words.

@blackjack21

Point to be kept in mind #7 :

for sale / on sale:

If you €™re selling something, it €™s 'for sale'; but if you lower the price, it goes 'on sale'.

Point to be kept in mind #8 :

Lusty / Lustful

(This was asked in some bank exam (officer level.
Let us make it clear. )
“Lusty” means “brimming with vigor and good health” or “enthusiastic.”

“Lustful,” which means “filled with sexual desire.”

@cadmium Inflammable or Flammable mean/means the same...Which is correct?
