Students are advised to select preferences according to their Background degree, relevant work experience and then their entrance test scores to maximise their chances to convert the call.
Example 1 Seema with Bsc statistics background can go for Business analytics course along with PGDM course.
Example 2 - Rajesh with pharma background can choose PGDM and HCM as his choice
Example 3 Bsc agriculture can look at rural management with PGDM.
Above all you must also look at your scores in entrance test which carries a weightage of 35%. so if you have only welingkar as a option and got only 80 percentile it makes sense to atleast opt for 3 preferences to better your chances.
We get 15000 forms every year for 600 seats in mumbai and 240 seats in bangalore. Rejection rate is very high if you apply for only one course.

1. I am giving CMAT, will i be able to upload scores later
Ans Yes once the scores are out, you will be allowed you to update the scores.
2. I am giving only CMAT or April ATMA still i got a online selection process call on what BASIS?
Ans These calls are profile based calls (10th , 12th and graduation is seen for releasing these calls) but eventually you need to clear cut off in order to be part of final merit list.
3. Can i get a call after CMAT announces the results?
Yes, If you clear the cut off and if you meet the eligibility criteria then you will get a call.
4. Will the window for application reopen?
Yes, we will update on the website.
5. What's the last date to submit the form for now?
4th April 2021
6. I had applied only through CMAT. While filling declaration form, do i have to leave entrance test score document upload section as blank and submit only the preferences?
Ans Yes as of now please leave the CMAT section blank. Please edit your preference if you want.
7. What is cut off based call?
Ans The aspirant needs to score 75%tile in CAT or XAT and 80 percentile in ATMA to get the cut off based shortlisting call for Selection process. For Mumbai courses like HCM & rural candidates with relevant profile or work experience can apply with 70 percentiles in any of the mentioned test. However the Final admission depends on the overall performance of the candidate in the selection process.
8. What is Profile based call?
Ans The candidate can be called for Welingkar Selection process if his profile (which includes 10th, 12th and graduation. But eventually the students who undergoes selection process HAS to score the cut off to be part of final MERIT list.
9. What is the next process after getting the Online selection call?
Ans 1) Online Pre-Interview Questionnaire (PIQ) - MCQ pattern primarily, time bound based on Personality of the candidate.
2) Online Interview/s.
10. Will there be a Group discussion (GD) this year?
Ans No. there will be no GD this year.
11. Where will I find the link for the personality test?
You will receive a Schedule (Date and Time) for the PIQ on your Dashboard shortly.
You will need to login and click on the ICON provided to complete this stage.
12.Where will I get the Interview link?
For the Interview, you will receive an invitation link for the said date and time. You will receive this invitation link one day prior to the interview.
You are expected to ensure good internet connectivity, mike and camera, in a quiet environment.
Once the interview/s are done, it completes the Selection Process.

Hi, I have cleared the ATMA cut-off, but yet haven't been shortlisted.
So if these calls are profile based, will there be any further entrance-based rounds, and if yes, will my application be reconsidered?
