Greetings from Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research (WeSchool)!
Hope you and your family members are all fine and staying safe while adhering to all the safety requirements mandated under current situation, across our country.
As you may be aware, the Institute had to conduct Online Selection process, owing to the nationwide lockdown for those candidates who were to complete the same. The process has been successfully completed.
You will also agree, result generation is a critical process and requires certain checks and verifications as the candidates applying to WeSchool are from PAN India and due to Covid-19, it will take minimum 2-3 weeks even after the lockdown is opened as per the State and Central Government directives.
Meanwhile, the AICTE has as on May 1st, 2020 on its official twitter released Guidelines to PGDM Institutions which is certainly positive for students wherein following important dates have been put forth:
• Last Date for Cancellation of seats of PGDM programs with full refund of fees subtracting Rs 1000/-: July 25, 2020.
• Last Date of admissions is July 31, 2020
We understand your concern, where you may need to prepare with respect to fees, documents or other decisions and hence, while the result declaration is getting delayed, we are working towards releasing the same at the earliest.
We hope you empathise and understand the challenges in the given scenario. The Institute will make a formal announcement of the results on the website, along with a detailed schedule.

I wonder why some people are creating fears & excitement unnecessarily among innocent aspirants that the email is connected with selection??? Please stop this! The same thing happened at the time of gdpi calls also...People were screaming with mails. I wonder how welingkar shorlists these kind of people?? Everything will be declared in the dashboard whenever it will be out &, whatever one's status may be. Please stop this.
@SWAPNEEEL we are really eager to know about the results now. Is there any tentative date atleast for the announcement of results.

Welingkar result is similar to a covid-19 vaccine. Both will arrive next year. They can't even send emails properly. When inquired, they claim that email must have been in your spam folder. I checked the spam folder multiple times yesterday and I still keep checking. And, yes I know the content of the email. I know, it has got no correlation with results. But, this formula of sending emails to half of the people and not to the rest is mind blowing!
What is taking so long i dont understand. Like every institute is working on their result. Even IBS released the results. I totally understand this pandemic situation. But now its high time. So that if we are selected we can enjoy this LOCKDOWN and if not selected we can start preparing again
Action speak louder than words and it has definitely been proved by the adcom. We kept on asking queries for days and not a single response. You are not just a messenger you are a mediator as well. You have to convey the institute of our troubles. All of us have been waiting for an update or a single response for days and yesterday we get yet another ambiguous response from the institute itself. We want to know the reason behind the hold up of our results. We want to know if we should go with another choice since you've shown us your lack of capabilities as a management institute unable to manage results.
I can understand the pandemic in Maharashtra is the most but instead of that pandemic KJ Somaiya released its merit list and the interviews for it were held much later then welingkar and moreover IBS also faced a very difficult situation still they managed to send there results though they had a huge number of students to be selected I think welingkar is really overconfident about its image and is full of egoist people in the management they really don't care about the consequences of their actions they should be ashamed of playing with students career
This is such a shame that even after a month of completing the online process of admissions you guys are not releasing the merit list. Lockdown was meant for WFH. If the management was working properly it could have released the list just like the other colleges in the city. The whole world is affected by the pandemic but no one is blaming it for their own mismanagement.
All of your complaints are completely justifiable. I mean it really surprises me that a college like We School would be so careless with the students who have been seriously aspiring for it since a very long time. No doubt, Welingkar has a good name but there is this series of events happening where in their mangement is trying their level best to proove their mismanagement towards the students. Firstly, the delay in conducting the left over interviews online, then asking the students to be ready with an amount of 3,00,000 even before the merits..which is quite pathetic because if the students had that kind of amount why would they go for the loan at the 1st place. I dont think even tier 3 or tier 4 colleges would do such a thing. Then lastly, not being transparent with the aspirants, not replying to the queries on time and finally sending this email full of excuses. If the college wanted, they could have announced the merits.. Is lockdown meant for them only? How other colleges who are in the similar situation coming up with the merits and atleast they are communicating with the students unlike welingkar. I personally am very dissapointed. What they dont realise or perhaps they dont care about it is that none of the good students who have other options would wait till june july, and all that the college would be left with are the ones whos only option is welingkar...

Which is a better college for finance? As these colleges have less intake IFMR- 180 Dalmia-240 Welingkar core-180 Dalmia is in Mumbai, which is the financial capital, so won't that be an advantage? Ik Welingkar is good for marketing, but don't you guys think welingkar is a better brand, and brand is very important, and also Welingkar has location advantage. IFMR will be good as it offers good finance profiles and the intake is less. Can anyone please help me out. I spoke with so many people, and they told me in this situation brand will be important, as it is the only thing which can help you.
