Someone please clarify regarding the duration of XAT 2014. Is it 2 hrs 30 min? 2 hrs 40 mins? or something else...and is this mentioned in the XAT notification (coz I did not happen to come across about this piece of info on any official doc).

Guys, as such I have filled for the XAT exam..but I dont think I would be able to get that much score to get into any of the xavier college....therefore I dont want to waste my money to apply for the 5 programs being offered in XLRI.......
My doubts are:
1) what are the other good institutes which accept XAT score?
2) will I be eligible for the XAT test despite the fact that I haven't applied for the XLRI programs?
