Last year, 18.50 marks meant 70 percentile, with 8 questions more than this year(leave aside the difference in difficulty levels). Now with variations in the keys available, it's really hard to predict the cut-offs. Or rather, it's futile. Let's just hope for the best!
took the paper offline..DM was slightly easier than last two years' solely due to inclusion of LRs, otherwise DM is a dicey game as always...QA was more on the line of 2012, VA was more difficult than last two years.. but as there is no variable marking so selecting the right sets of questions is the key here.
VA: 6.5-7.5 for 80%tile
QA: 7-8 for 90%tile
DM:8-9 for 80%tile
OA: 25-28 should be good for a BM call

What were the DM cut offs in the previous years? All the classes are predicting very high DM cut offs
exam se pehle 2 week yahi chinta mei doobe rahe ki ESSAY ka kya hoga..... kaash pata hota ki aisa paper ayega ki mera essay pada hi ni jaega..... ATB to those who expect call from xat colleges....
I dont know on what basis has test funda changed the marks now. I checked with other institutes it remains the same and moreover the answer keys are almost same. I think the best predictor is CL and TIME. !!

To be very true i was really hopeless after CAT (Despite good preparations and Mocks score, and i gave CAT on 25th October), so did not even touch any book for XAT (as i knew it is always on a tougher side 😞 ). But i ferried through this with following stats:
VA : 9.75
DM : 10.75
QA : 8.75
Overall : 29.25 (as per CL)
Now the problem is i did not fill any application, except for XLRI and IMT,G. Can anyone tell me if i have any chance of making to XLRI call list. And for the matter of fact i do have a work experience of 31 months in a PSU.
