XLRI BM GD/PI 2016 EXPERIENCE 01:45 PM, 21st Feb 2016, RADISSON BLU, DELHI XAT - 99.77, 10 - 92.5, 12 - 86.2 GD Topic - Should rural posting be made compulsory for doctors? All 8 were present. Panel repeated the instructions as given on their website. GD went well; everyone had sufficient time to put their points. No interruption from the moderators. We discussed for and against points and how it can be implemented. PI - Panel consisted of the same three who were at the GD. I was interviewed for around 30-35 min. Luckily No questions related to video or general knowledge. Was asked about my work experience, took me a while to explain that I develop naval warship simulators for clients like Indian navy, Kenya navy etc. They found it pretty interesting, asked me to how would I go about developing a simulator of our Prime Minister. Then a question based of the questionnaire we filled. Then a case based question, if I own a company how I would decide the income of my employees. was asked further questions on it. Asked about why I took certain stand in the GD. Behavioral questions, what drives you? Last time what you did that hurt your conscience. And finally a probability question based on poker, as I mentioned poker as my interest. Interviewers were really very understanding and relaxed. So chill out guys!!
I have my BM interview on 3rd march but I had received another interview call on 3rd march.Its a government department interview so they are not rescheduling it.I sent my mail to [email protected] for interview rescheduling with the concerned proof on friday as well as today.But there is no reply.What to do?Help

PI: Interviewers were very friendly, made us very comfortable. There were two in the interview panel - the same two who evaluated the GD. Some of us were asked questions from GD (eg: how it could be improved, why we took a certain stand etc). Some personality related questions were asked and several work-ex related questions were asked. One person in the interview panel looked at the marksheets and certificates while the other was asking questions. Having a resume in the file which was handed over to the interviewer might have been useful here. I didn't carry my resume, though. Interview lasted 15-35 minutes. Mine was 35 minutes long while the one interviewed ahead of me took hardly 15 minutes (perhaps because he was a fresher).
BM:

PI: Again, the 3 member interview panel was very friendly and keen on making us comfortable. Asked in-depth questions related to work-ex. The interview went extremely well. No rhetorical questions were asked. They didn't ask for any certificates or marksheets. They even declined to take a look at them even when I offered it. Interview lasted around 15-25 minutes.
Overall, I felt HR had more personality related questions while BM had a lot more work-ex related questions testing our knowledge in our work.

Chances of converting HRM at 98.31? Heard BM is virtually impossible. :P

@am46an Hey, while we wait for the results, can you please shed some light on what the further process is like? As in, how many offers are made in the first list, how many candidates are waitlisted and what is the waitlist movement like? All these based on your last year's experience of course. TIA

What are the chances of an IT guy like me with 29 mths experience to get final selection call from either XLRI-HRM or XLRI-BM with a percentile of 99.6%? Interview still to happen.. Need to know about the diversity considerations for final selections.
Can someone please shed some light on this?
