Since the overall time of XAT 2016 is increased to 3.5 hrs, what would be the time division between QA-VA-DM and GK, Essay sections? will there be increase in no of questions?
Which of the following is a good book for previous year XAT papers (in terms of the quality of solutions):
1. XAT solved papers by Gautam Puri
2. Jabbling the XAT by R.K.Jha (Arihant)
3. Target XAT by Disha Experts
GEM with bad acads. CAT 2015 expecting around 96, and I know this won't fetch me even 1 call so last resort is XAT now.
Haven't applied for it till now, should I? Does XLRI considers acads?

Will the exam pattern change? There are rumors that there would be negative marks for un-attempted questions,and that the negative penalty would be increased from 1/4th. Can anyone shed some light on whether the rumors might hold true?

can someone please shed light on how gk would affect admission into XLRI during the interview stage? Because my gk is not good and can it be prepared within a month?
This is going to sound really stupid,but I don't quite understand how even the highest marks go as far as in the 30s in XAT .Is the paper really that difficult?Can someone please explain the difficulty level of XAT?

I had submitted the XAT form after applying for the H.R.M. option and paid Rs 1750 through the online mode , and submitted the form as well.
However I would like to apply for the B.M. Course as well.
Is there any way I may be apply to do it now ?

Wanted to check answers for the Decision Making section. The answers provided by Time,IMS,etc. are a different for many questions with close choices.
I want to understand the priority of criterias while making decisions,
1. Practicality / profitability
2. Morals
Different classes give different importance to these criteria.

Is work experience as a freelance copyeditor counted in XLRI XAT?
i did the online registration on the 27th November and paid the amount but the server crashed ,
