I've studied History of insurance from IRDAI website and Insurance in India chapter from Indian Economy by Ramesh Singh. Now I'm planning to read Current affairs from August - mid November. Is there anything else I should do for the GA portion?
Preparing current affairs on a daily basis before 3-4 months of mains exam is Million times more effective than preparing it during last 15 days of exams.The earlier we realise this,the better will be our chances of scoring really good marks in gk section of any mains exam whether its ibps po or ibps clerk or for any upcoming bank and insurance exams,as we all know that in this era of highly unpredictable quant,lr and english section questions,gk section is the real game changer...

STRATEGY FOR GENERAL AWARENESS : CURRENT AFFAIRS : 4.5 months July August September October and upto 15 November I'll suggest study IQ pdf/videos. Also grab a dedicated capsule for this exam. The main thing about CA is revise the same source as many times as you can. That is more productive than doing multiple pdfs once. STATIC AWARENESS : I would suggest BA static capsule. INSURANCE AWARENESS : There is this pdf available at Aspirants Zone and BA for insurance awareness. Read those 2. Also refer to IRDAI website for basic insurance knowledge. If you have any query, you can ask in comments. Hope it'll help.
DESCRIPTIVE EXAM STRATEGY: If you look at latest trends, the topics are mostly related to General insurance sector. So I would suggest read about History of insurance sector in India, type of General insurance covers, any latest development in insurance sector like the IPO of general insurance companies.
